STIFF INTERLAYERS FOR LAMINATED GLASS STRUCTURES
A new laminated glass structure for automotive glazing, architectural window and other applications that includes two sheets of relatively thin, optionally chemically strengthened glass, such as Corning® Gorilla® Glass, with a composite interlayer structure that includes at least one relatively stiff layer having relatively high Young's modulus of 50 MPa or higher and a relatively softer polymer layer having a relatively low Young's modulus of 20 MPa or lower.
Joint structure
A joint structure includes: a first same-type metal member; a second same-type metal member that can be mutually welded with the first same-type metal member; and a different-type member that has a penetrating portion, is interposed between the first same-type metal member and the second same-type metal member. In the plate thickness direction of an emission region in which a laser beam is emitted toward the penetrating portion, the plate thickness at the emission region of the first same-type metal member positioned on the side on which the laser beam is emitted is a predetermined thickness corresponding to a first gap. The first same-type metal member and the second same-type metal member are fused and bonded together via the penetrating portion, and the different-type member is compressed and fixed, such that the different-type member is fixed to the first same-type metal member and the second same-type metal member.

The manufacturing method is for a high-strength galvannealed steel sheet which includes a zinc coated layer with a coating weight of 20 to 120 g/m.sup.2 per side on a surface of a steel sheet having a chemical composition containing, in mass %, C: 0.03 to 0.35%, Si: 0.01 to 1.00%, Mn: 3.6 to 8.0%, Al: 0.001 to 1.00%, P: 0.100% or less, and S: 0.010% or less, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities. The method includes: setting a cold rolling reduction ratio to 20% or more and 35% or less when cold rolling is performed on the steel sheet, and setting a maximum steel sheet temperature to be reached in an annealing furnace to 600° C. or higher and 700° C. or lower when annealing is further performed on the steel sheet.
Steel sheet and manufacturing method therefor
A steel sheet has a chemical composition with a steel structure containing, by volume fraction, soft ferrite: 0-30%, retained austenite: 3-40%, fresh martensite: 0-30%, pearlite and cementite: 0-10%, and a remainder including hard ferrite. In the steel sheet, a number proportion of retained austenite having an aspect ratio of 2.0 or more in the total retained austenite is 50% or more, and a soft layer having a thickness of 1-100 μm is present. In the soft layer, a volume fraction of ferrite grains having an aspect ratio of less than 3.0 is 50% or more, and a volume fraction of retained austenite is 50% or more of the volume fraction of the retained austenite of the inside of the steel sheet. A peak of an emission intensity at a wavelength indicating Si appears in a range of more than 0.2 μm to 5 μm or less from the surface.
Stretchable material, a manufacturing method of a stretch material, a stretchable member, and a clothing product
A stretch material according to one embodiment is a stretch material 10 including an elastomer and having multiple discretely formed slits 15. A stretchable member includes: a stretch part having a structure in which the skin layer of the stretch material 10 is plastically deformed; and a shape retaining part by which the layer structure of the stretch material 10 is maintained. A diaper, which is one example of a clothing product, includes the stretch material 10 or the abovementioned stretchable member.
