Anti-icing composite
The present invention relates to a novel anti-icing composite for preventing ice adhesion. A microphase separated, fluorinated nano/micro particles in aliphatic/fluorinated polyurethane/polyurea matrix coated on an elastic substratum results in anti-icing composite. The preparation method for novel anti-icing composite is disclosed.

Disclosed is an inner liner for a pneumatic tire, the inner liner including no less than 8 resin-layers, the resin-layer having a layer A constituted with a resin composition containing a gas barrier resin, and a layer B constituted with a resin composition containing an elastomer, at least one of the resin compositions included in the layer A and the layer B that are adjacent with each other containing a metal salt, the content of the metal salt being no less than 1 ppm and no greater than 10,000 ppm in terms of metal element equivalent, and an interlayer adhesive force between the layer A and the layer B being no less than 500 g/15 mm. The layer A and the layer B are preferably alternately laminated.

To provide a multilayer structure having high gas barrier property and crack resistance as well as excellent fatigue resistance, an inner liner for a pneumatic tire using such a multilayer structure, and a pneumatic tire comprising the inner liner. According to the present invention, in a multilayer structure 1 including a barrier layer 2 and an elastomer layer 3, a proportion of a thickness of the elastomer layer 3 in the multilayer structure ((U1+U2+ . . . +Un)/T) is 60% or more.

WATERBORNE COATING COMPOSITION USEFUL FOR PROMOTING ADHESION TO PLASTIC SURFACES
The waterborne coating composition herein is useful for promoting adhesion of paint to a component such as a plastic automobile part or accessory. The waterborne coating composition is particularly useful for promoting adhesion of paint to a thermoplastic polyolefin surface. The waterborne coating composition is prepared from a mixture comprising at least one chlorinated polyolefin resin and at least one urethane acrylic hybrid resin. The waterborne coating composition provides not only good adhesion of a paint to a thermoplastic polyolefin surface, but also provides good appearance. The waterborne coating composition is also compatible with a wide variety of paint systems and can be rapidly dried under ambient conditions.

A composite sheet material includes a cover sheet, a substrate and an adhesion promoting layer. The cover sheet has a cover sheet material. The substrate has a substrate material. The adhesion promoting layer is disposed between the cover sheet and the substrate. A first side of the adhesion promoting layer disposed towards the cover sheet has an affinity to bond with the cover sheet material. A second side of the adhesion promoting layer disposed towards the substrate has an affinity to bond with the substrate material.

LAMINATING ADHESIVES BASED ON PRIMARY HYDROXYL-CONTAINING CURATIVES
A curative containing two or more primary hydroxyl groups per molecule and one or more moieties derived from a secondary hydroxyl-containing polyol such as polypropylene glycol is prepared in a multistage process wherein the secondary hydroxyl-containing polyol is end-capped with an excess of a reactant such as a polybasic acid and the resulting functionalized intermediate is then reacted with a polyol such as glycerin or diethylene glycol containing primary hydroxyl groups. Such curatives may be used in combination with isocyanate-functionalized polyurethane prepolymers to provide two component adhesives useful for laminating thin films and/or foils.
Film mirror, and composite film for use in same
The film mirror includes a resin substrate; a metal reflective layer; and a surface coating layer, a ratio of a number of fluorine atoms to a number of carbon atoms in a surface layer portion of the surface coating layer as expressed by F/C is 0.21 to 1.00 and the surface coating layer has a surface hardness of more than 100 N/mm.sup.2 and an elastic recovery rate of 60% or more. The film mirror has stain-proof properties, and scratch resistance so that the surface is resistant to scratches in collision with sandy dust and is also resistant to scratches upon cleaning with a brush.
