Method of making a coreless retail paper roll
A paper rewinding machine includes a rewinding assembly operable to produce coreless retail paper rolls.
Binder composition
The invention relates to a new binder composition which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of composite materials utilizing such new binder composition in the required nonwoven materials. Composite materials using such new binder composition in their nonwoven part are suitable, in particular, for composites materials for interior construction, for linings, floor coverings, and for the manufacture of furniture and similar products.
Cellulose based electrically insulating material
An electrical device including a cellulose based electrically insulating composite material in the form of a paper or pressboard, the composite material having cellulose fibres; and an electrically insulating thermoplastic polymer material; wherein the polymer material is arranged around and between the cellulose fibres, and binds the fibres to each other.
Non-transparent art paper which prevents seepage
A non-transparent paper is described for non-transparent art or graphic design sketches, which prevents seepage of the inks, it accepts any type of gel, water-based, solvent-based, oil-based or mixed inks and solid materials for sketching and drawing, as well as fixatives for the solid materials. This paper consists of a lamination of at least two sheets of uncoated bond paper, inserting at least one intermediate layer of pigmented opacifying emulsion between both sheets, applied between the layers of paper to prevent transparency and the seepage of inks from one face of the lamination to the other. This layer of emulsion contains at least one opacifying pigment, at least one adhesive, agents to control viscosity and surface tension and other components. The outside layers of paper have a drying capacity which fixes the materials used for the sketching and prevent outlines made on one face passing to the adjacent sheets of paper, and also has a texture suitable for receiving any dry material for drawing or sketching.
Method for producing composite structural material
The composite structural material of the present invention includes a base (X) and a layer (Y) stacked on the base (X). The layer (Y) includes a reaction product (R) of a metal oxide (A) and a phosphorus compound (B). In the infrared absorption spectrum of the layer (Y) in the range of 800 to 1400 cm.sup.1, the wave number (n.sup.1) at which the infrared absorption reaches maximum is in the range of 1080 to 1130 cm.sup.1.
Biodegradable cellulose fiber-based substrate, its manufacturing process, and use in an adhesive tape
A biodegradable cellulose fiber-based substrate, at least one side of which is coated with a release coating including: a) at least one water-soluble polymer (WSP) containing hydroxyl groups, and b) at least one lactone substituted with at least one linear or branched and/or cyclic C.sub.8-C.sub.30 hydrocarbon chain which may contain heteroatoms. The biodegradable substrate is certified biodegradable in accordance with EN 13432. A method of production thereof is also disclosed.
Plastic coated composite building boards and method of making same
Disclosed are composite building boards and associated manufacturing methods. The composite boards may include, for example, one or more slurry layers with embedded fibrous mats. An exterior plastic coating is mechanically adhered to the underlying slurry layer. The plastic layer chemically bonds and cross-links with polymer additives within the slurry layer. The result is an integrated polymer matrix with greatly improved durability and surface strength.
