MULTIPURPOSE INFUSION MONITORING AND CONTROLLING UNIT AND METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed herein a real time multipurpose infusion monitoring and controlling unit comprising power source, monitor, micro controller and drop rate sensors, wherein said unit is performing employing horizontal screw mechanism adapted to monitor and control the drip by locking the airdrop in the saline tube to make the drip mechanism more accurately and efficiently.
DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A PHARMACEUTICAL FLUID
The invention relates to a device for applying a pharmaceutical fluid, having a tube and a valve element, wherein the tube can be connected in terms of fluid conduction via a first tube end to a reservoir for the pharmaceutical fluid, and wherein the valve element is arranged in a second tube end of the tube. The invention furthermore relates to a system for applying a pharmaceutical fluid, having a reservoir for the pharmaceutical fluid and such a device, and to a method for applying a pharmaceutical fluid by means of such a device.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS FOR ADMINISTERING AN ANTIBODY TREATMENT VIA INFUSION
Presented herein are methods, systems, and apparatus for administering an antibody treatment via an infusion device, e.g., a rapid infusion device, e.g., for the treatment of a disease or condition that requires one or more infusions of monoclonal and/or polyclonal antibodies.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR SMART FLUID INJECTOR PERFORMANCE MONITORING
A method, system, and computer program product are disclosed for performance monitoring of a smart fluid injector system having at least one sensor configured for detecting operation data. The operation data includes one or more operation parameters associated with at least one of: one or more drive components of the fluid injector system and at least one disposable component configured for use with the fluid injector system. The fluid injector system further includes a control device having at least one processor programmed or configured to: receive the operation data, and determine a component status for at least one of: the drive component(s), the disposable component(s), and administration line(s) by comparing the received operation data with stored operation data. The component status includes one or more predictions of an operation failure or a misuse of at least one of: the drive component(s), the disposable component(s), and administration line(s).
Medical pump with flow control
Methods and devices for accurately pumping small quantities of liquid to a patient with a broad range of flow and low cost.
Modular intravenous assembly
Modular intravenous (IV) assemblies are provided. The modular IV assembly includes a drip chamber having a body and an inlet connector, a base housing coupled directly to a base portion of the drip chamber, the base housing having an inlet port in fluid connection with the drip chamber and a flow path cavity in fluid connection with the inlet port and a flow control assembly coupled directly to a first portion of the base housing. Any of a filter assembly, an anti-run dry member, a check valve and an air vent assembly may be included in the modular IV assembly. IV sets and methods of use are also provided.
NEEDLE SAFETY SYSTEMS
Tissue access devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. The devices can have a sensor configured to occlude a flow path by deflecting a membrane into the flow path when the devices become dislodged from tissue. The sensor can be configured to partially or fully occlude the flow path. The sensor can have a spring. The spring can be biased to move the sensor from a sensor first configuration to a sensor second configuration when a force applied by the sensor first surface against a non-sensor surface changes from a first force to a second force less than the first force. The membrane can be deflected into the flow path when the sensor is in the sensor second configuration.
Deformable drug reservoir for wearable drug delivery device
A drug delivery device has a housing with an adhesive pad associated with the lower surface of the housing and configured to removably attach to a human body surface. A deformable drug reservoir is positioned within the housing and includes an outlet, with a needle fluidically connected to the drug reservoir and configured to define at least a portion of a fluid flow path between the drug reservoir and said human body surface. A delivery assembly is associated with the drug reservoir and includes a roller and a drive assembly, with the drive assembly being controlled by the controller during a drug delivery routine to move the roller from a first position to a second position so as to cause the roller to contact and deform the reservoir, thereby conveying a drug from the reservoir via the outlet.
Clamping Device for Acting onto a Medical Tubing
A clamping device for acting onto a medical tubing includes a clamp arrangeable on the medical tubing and displaceable between an open position in which the clamp unblocks the medical tubing and a close position in which the clamp closes the medical tubing. The clamping device further includes a drive system configured to act on the clamp for switching the clamp between the open position and the close position. The clamping device also includes a main control circuit and a secondary control circuit electronically independent from the main control circuit, and a relay switchable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the relay electronically couples the drive system to the main control circuit while the drive system is electronically decoupled from the secondary control circuit. In the second position, the relay electronically couples the drive system to the secondary control circuit while the drive system is electronically decoupled from the main control circuit. The secondary control circuit causes the clamp to adopt the close position when the relay is in the second position.
Backflow Prevention Mechanism for Drug Delivery Device
A drug delivery device includes a housing, a container disposed in the housing, an activation mechanism, a needle insertion mechanism, a fluid flow connection, and a valve in fluid communication with the fluid flow connection and the needle insertion mechanism. The container has an inner volume to contain a medicament which is urged out of the container by the activation mechanism. The needle insertion mechanism is adapted to insert a needle and/or a cannula to deliver the medicament from the container via the fluid flow connection. The valve is in fluid communication with the fluid flow connection and needle insertion mechanism, and is movable between first and second positions. Upon insertion of the needle and/or the cannula, the valve remains in the first position whereby fluid flow is restricted. At a later time, the valve is urged to the second position whereby fluid may flow through the needle or cannula.
