The disclosure relates to a syringe support for supporting an axial position of a syringe relative to a housing of an autoinjector. The syringe support comprises a projecting portion, which projects from the syringe support in a distal direction and a flexible portion which axially adjoins the projecting portion. The flexible portion is adapted to axially bias the syringe in the distal direction within the housing. The disclosure further relates to an autoinjector.

NEEDLELESS INJECTION APPARATUS

A needleless injection apparatus is provided which forms a suitable contact state between an injection opening and an injection object. The needleless injection apparatus is provided with an expansible bag body, a needleless syringe including no injection needle, and a gas supply unit for supplying the expansion gas to the bag body. Here, the needleless syringe has a nozzle portion for injecting an injection objective substance toward the injection object surrounded by the bag body. Then, the bag body includes a first bag portion arranged at any of locations except an arrangement location of the needleless syringe so as to pressurize the injection object by expansion, and a second bag portion arranged at a location at which the nozzle portion is sandwiched between the second bag portion and the injection object so as to push the injection opening to an injection object side by expansion.

Autoinjector with an inner plunger which disengages the outer plunger to retract the syringe carrier

Described is an autoinjector comprising a case, a chassis slidably arranged in the case, a syringe carrier operably coupled to the chassis, an outer plunger selectively engaged to the chassis, an inner plunger selectively engaged to the outer plunger, and a drive spring applying a biasing force to the outer plunger. The biasing force is applied to the inner plunger when the inner plunger is engaged to the outer plunger. Rotation of the chassis causes the inner plunger to rotate relative to the outer plunger and disengage the outer plunger to remove the biasing force from the drive spring on the inner plunger. When the inner plunger disengages the outer plunger, the biasing force of the drive spring pushes the chassis to retract the syringe carrier relative to the case.

Torsion spring injection device having an end-of-dose mechanism
09827373 · 2017-11-28 · ·

The present invention relates to a torsion spring based automatic injection device for apportioning set doses of a liquid drug and which injection device is provided with an End-of-Dose feedback mechanism providing a user with an audible signal once the set dose has been injected. During injection, the scale drum rotates back to its “zero” position under influence of the torsion spring. This rotation is halted shortly before reaching the “zero” position by stopping means. The scale drum is thereafter only allowed to continue rotation and thus reach the “zero” position once the torque applied to the scale drum by the torsion spring surpasses a threshold value.

A medicament delivery device includes a generally elongated tubular housing having opposite proximal and distal parts; a needle shield sleeve slidably and coaxially arranged inside the housing with a proximal part of the sleeve protruding a distance outside the proximal part of the housing; a syringe carrier mechanism having a syringe carrier slidably and coaxially arranged within the needle shield sleeve, a syringe having a stopper, a medicament, and a needle, the syringe being coaxially arranged within the syringe carrier; and a holding member connected to the syringe carrier; a first activator member an a second activator member; a drive mechanism adapted to accumulate a drive force for moving the syringe carrier mechanism in a first step and a second step. The second activator member is arranged within an information device for producing audible, visual, and/or tactile feedback to a user about a completed injection.

AN AUTO-INJECTOR DEVICE FOR DELIVERING MEDICAMENTS

An auto-injector device for delivering medicaments is disclosed. The auto-injector device includes a syringe assembly having a needle adapted to expel medicaments from the syringe assembly and a barrel adapted to hold the medicaments. The syringe assembly includes a plunger positioned coaxially with respect to the barrel and adapted to reciprocate within the barrel to expel the medicaments from the barrel. Further, the syringe assembly includes a locking member adapted to be engaged with the plunger to hold he plunger in a position with respect to the barrel. The position of the plunger with respect to the barrel is adapted to be adjusted to vary a volume of medicaments to be expelled from the barrel. The position of the plunger is adjusted by engaging the locking member with the plunger at one of a plurality of positions along a length of the plunger.
