STERILE PROTECTIVE COVER COMPRISING A DEVICE FOR OPTHALMIC DELIVERY
Described herein does a sterile protective cover comprise an intracameral therapeutic agent delivery device in the form of a pen-injector comprising a cartridge container for dispensing multiple doses of a medicament, coupled to an actuation assembly within a housing. A needle assembly is coupled to the distal end of the cartridge container, provided with a removable cap received within the housing will be in optional pre-sterile or no-sterile condition. Use of such device for the prevention or treatment of ocular conditions or diseases is also disclosed. A sterile protective cover comprising ophthalmic device, wherein the sterile protective cover is made of plastic, polythene, polyethylene, resin, rubber, polystyrene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, nylon, or combination thereof. More, particularly the present invention relates to a novel ophthalmic device of reduced length and diameter in the form of a pen-injector for precise and controlled delivery of different doses of a therapeutic agent by introducing a unique Pen grip for the device. The present invention also depicts a novel ophthalmic device comprising a multimode power on-off button that would also work with a Pulse mode to deliver a fixed quantity of medicament and also double up as a speed control to control the rate of injection and might be used with dermal filler.
Oral medicine dispensing system
A liquid dispensing system for oral administration comprises a dispenser and cartridges from which medicine is dispensed. Each cartridge includes a hollow shell with a septum at one end, a piston at the other end, and the medicine in a cavity between the septum and the piston. The dispenser includes receiver in which a cartridge is received, a plunger that can slide relative to the receiver and that has a plunging head that can drive the piston, and a barrel in which the cartridge, receiver and plunger can be received, at least partly. Once a cartridge has been inserted into the receiver, the receiver and cartridge are inserted into the barrel and a piercing head ruptures the septum. The plunger is pushed to drive the piston and the medicine is dispensed by the piston, through a discharge passage of the barrel.
Frontloaded drug delivery device with dynamic axial stop feature
Drug delivery device adapted to receive a cartridge and including a housing, a front-loaded cartridge holder adapted to receive and hold a cartridge in a loaded position, and stop structure adapted to engage a proximal surface of a received cartridge The stop structure is actuatable between a receiving state in which the stop structure is positioned in a first axial position thereby defining how far proximally a received cartridge can be inserted, and an operational state in which the stop structure allows an inserted cartridge to be moved axially to a second more proximal position.
Syringe
A syringe includes a holding portion that accommodates an injection objective substance, a driving portion that applies injection energy, and a nozzle portion that includes a passage for injection, with these portions being loaded into a housing independently, whereby a state where the injection objective substance can be injected is established. The syringe includes a regulating means for regulating a loading position of the holding portion and the driving portion within the housing so that a loading state, where the holding portion and the driving portion are always loaded in the same order into the housing, is established for injection of the injection objective substance. Due to this, it is possible to facilitate injection of injection liquid ideal for various purposes and to improve user's convenience.
Resettable Drug Delivery Device
The present disclosure is generally directed to a resettable drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament. The drug delivery device comprises a housing, a cartridge holder releasably attached to the distal end of the housing, a piston rod engaging a housing insert and a drive member, a dose setting member guided within the housing to allow rotation of the dose setting member during dose setting and dose dispensing, a clutch for rotationally coupling the drive member and the dose setting member, and a locking element which is rotationally constrained to the housing and is axially movable relative to the housing between a proximal dose setting position and a distal resetting position.
AUTOMATIC INJECTION APPLICATOR
An automatic applicator of injection is described, which is equipped with a programmable electronic module that activates a first linear motor (ML1) which axially displaces an arm (13) of the proximal end (11) to the fixed head (20) placed at the distal end of the housing (10), said arm (13) which compresses a cartridge (15) fitted in the chamber (12) formed between the head (20) and the free end of the arm (13) so as to gradually expel the fluid stored in the cartridge; and a second linear motor (ML2) actuated concurrent with the first linear motor (ML1), said second linear motor (ML2) retreating an arm (60) with a dragger (61) which slides axially a suction chamber (30) toward the intermediate portion of the housing (10) and contiguous to the outer surface of the inner chamber (12), gradually exposing the needle tip (50) for application of the injection. The equipment is also equipped with a motor (63) which vibrates the suction chamber (30), tightly sealed, inside which air is removed by a suction pump creating a vacuum for the suction of the mucous against the needle.
