CONNECTOR FOR FLUIDLY SEALING AN APERTURE OF A PROTECTIVE CASE
A protective case for a portable electronic device is provided. The portable electronic device has a device connector for transmission of data and/or power between the device connector and a data and/or power source via a reciprocal connector assembly. The case includes an aperture disposed proximate the device connector of the installed portable electronic device, the aperture passing between an outer surface and an inner surface of the case and defined by a surface between the outer and inner surfaces, the aperture having a circumference; and a compliant seal surrounding the circumference of the aperture, the compliant seal to interface with at least a portion of the backshell portion of the reciprocal connector assembly to seal the aperture when the reciprocal connector assembly is inserted through the aperture to interface with the device connector of the installed portable electronic device.
Portable device accessory
The present invention is a portable device accessory that includes a cover, a plurality of hooks, a connector, a first adhesive pad, and a second adhesive pad. The first adhesive pad is attached to one side of the connector. The other side of the connector is attached to a portable device, such as mobile phone, by the second adhesive pad. The user may remove the cover to reveal the first adhesive pad, then temporary attaches the first adhesive pad to a mounting surface so the user may take a selfie with the portable device. After the portable device accessory is detached from the mounting surface, the user may place the cover over the first adhesive pad and pressed the cover and the connector towards each other thus enabling the plurality of attachments to be frictionally attach around a lateral wall of the connector.
Protective enclosure for an electronic device
A protective enclosure for an electronic device can include a structural layer having a plurality of openings. The structural layer can be made of a first material and provide rigidity to the protective enclosure. The protective enclosure can include an outer cushion portion made of a second material and disposed over an outer surface of the structural layer. The outer cushion portion can provide cushioning to the protective enclosure. The protective enclosure can include an inner cushion portion connected to the outer cushion portion and can be configured to protrude through the openings of the structural layer and extend beyond the structural layer, supporting the electronic device installed in the protective enclosure.
FUEL SOURCE FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL FUEL CELL POWER SUPPLY
A protective cover (10) for a portable computing device (1) provides a fuel source (14) disposed within a compartment in the protective cover. The fuel source may be a hydrogen fuel source suitable for delivering hydrogen to a fuel cell (15) within the protective cover or within the portable computing device, for generating electrical power for use by the portable computing device. The protective cover may have a plurality of planar panels (11) separated by a one or more hinge regions (12) which can each house a fuel source compartment. The protective cover may also be serviceable as a stand.
INTERACTIVE SKIN FOR WEARABLE
A wearable may be provided with or configured to provide interactive skin. The interactive skin may be configured for accepting touch input from a user. The interactive skin may include one or more flexible layers and may include or be mounted under a transparent display cover layer such as a layer of clear glass or plastic. Interactive skin may include a touch-sensitive layer that allows a user to provide touch input to the wearable. Display pixels on interactive skin may be used to display visual information to the user. The interactive skin may be configured for detecting a condition of at least one wearable and generating an output function in response to the detected condition.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH INTERCHANGEABILITY AND MODULARITY
An electronic device is described herein. The electronic device includes a portable housing for the electronic device. A zipper of the portable housing is to enable access to the electronic device. Additionally, the electronic device includes a flexible display integrated into the portable housing. The zipper may enable electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding while enclosing the electronic device and associated components within the portable form factor. In embodiments, a flexible magnetic seal may be used to enclose the electronic device and associated components within the portable form factor.
MOUNTING APPARATUS FOR LIGHT SOCKET
A mounting apparatus for a light socket assembly comprises an extension body connectable with the light socket assembly. The extension body defines a first arcuate surface extending from the extension body. A clamping assembly has a second arcuate surface extending from the clamping assembly. The first arcuate surface and the second arcuate surface are each contoured to conform with and to pivotally contact each other, at least in part, with sufficient friction that the extension body and the clamping assembly are selectively positionable and pivotally movable relative to each other in response to intentional repositioning of the extension body and the clamping assembly relative to each other. The apparatus thus provides for mounting of a light socket assembly on a wide variety of environmental items, such as, for example, trees, eavestroughs and the like, and is particularly useful for mounting a string of wired festive lights, such as Christmas lights.
MULTISTRAND LANYARD FOR HANDHELD DEVICES
Provided are lanyards for a handheld electronic device featuring a loop section having a section of braided or woven strands of fiber and having a section of very thin profile being adapted for fitting between a handheld device and a case or cover placed thereon. The lanyards can be used with existing cases or covers. The lanyards are very strong, lightweight and help prevent damage to or loss of the handheld devices.
METHOD AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING DO-IT-YOURSELF PAPERBOARD SMARTPHONE CASES AND CONTAINERS
The invention relates to paperboard smartphone cases and paperboard containers, and more particularly, to do-it yourself paperboard smartphone cases and paperboard containers manufactured to enable households and small businesses to produce custom smartphone cases and product containers using inexpensive, readily available inkjet printing equipment and associated methods/systems for doing so.
PROTECTIVE LEATHER CASE AND POSITIONING DEVICE
The present application relates to a protective leather case and a positioning device for protecting a smart terminal. The protective leather case includes a leather layer; an adhesive layer; and a positioning release film including a first release film and a second release film. The leather layer, the adhesive layer and the positioning release film are laminated sequentially. The first release film is provided in a first direction. At least two second release films are provided, and are arranged on both sides of the first release film in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The protective leather case can be used to facilitate accurate positioning and lamination between the protective leather case and the smart terminal.
