A protective case for a portable device having a touchscreen constructed from a back frame, a front frame, and a stretchable cover is disclosed herein. The back frame receives the device through an open front and the stretchable cover is stretched over the back frame and the device. A portion of the cover stretches over the back frame and device such that the device is securely held in the back frame. A front frame with a transparent screen protector that allows the touch screen of the device to be used while the device is frilly enclosed in the case is removably coupled to the back frame with grasping protrusions that connect to mounting portions on the back frame that extend through openings in the stretchable cover.

The present invention is designed to allow for complete customization of a flexible item, e.g. a modular handbag system. The invention can therefore be outfitted for multi-uses, such as a personal handbag, diaper bag, backpack, insulated cooler, storage tote, satchel, laptop and work bag, or a gym bag among other uses, with handles or shoulder strap or other carrying options as applicable. Said bag system may comprise one or more outer bag shells which allow for straps and/or handles and/or modular attachments to be attached to it. An outer bag shell may house a modular inner bag outfitted with a series of fastener systems to allow for complete interior customization. Furthermore, the present invention describes a fully functional smart flexible item, e.g. smart bag that espouses a system for delivering power from a battery located in an outer bag shell, and/or in an inner bag, and/or in a modular attachment (e.g. pockets) to an outer bag shell, and/or an inner bag, and/or one or more modular attachments featuring technological components. Finally, the power delivery system can be applied to a variety of soft goods, most notably: clothing, outdoor gear, home furnishing covers, and personal accessories.

The invention relates to a foldable support base which includes a baseplate and a folding layer. The baseplate has two first sides, two second sides and at least one anti-slip slot. The folding layer is connected to the baseplate and has a fist cutting line, two second cutting lines and a folding line set. The first cutting line is of a U-shape and disposed adjacent to each of the second sides and one of the first sides. The second cutting lines are located inside the first cutting line and extended parallelly with each other. A three-dimensional support structure is configured and folded by dividing the folding layer to multiple blocks through the first cutting line, the second cutting lines and the folding line set. Therefore, the support base may be folded into multiple modes and have anti-slip support effect.

Protective cases that direct sound are disclosed. A protective case for an electronic device includes a body defining a cavity for receiving the electronic device. The body includes one or more walls arranged about a perimeter of the cavity. The one or more walls define a plurality of sound direction channels extending through the body. At least one first sound direction channel of the plurality of sound direction channels extends through the body in a first direction and at least one second sound direction channel of the plurality of sound direction channels extending through the body in a second direction different from the first direction.

An apparatus for securely enclosing a portable electronic or computing device using device compatible mounts and/or a device locking mechanism is described. The apparatus may comprise a front retaining frame and a device compatible back plate. The portable electronic or computing device may be enclosed between the front frame and the back plate in some implementations. The back plate may include VESA compatible mounting patterns in some implementations. In some implementations, the front frame and the black plate prevent unauthorized access to one or more controls of the enclosed device while leaving the screen of the enclosed device visible and while permitting audio to pass freely from the enclosed device to the ambient environment as well as from the ambient environment to the enclosed device.

A device having a top half and a bottom half divided by a perforated hinge mechanism is provided. The top half may contain a graphic image and be used as a protective cover or kickstand, and the bottom half contains a reusable elastomeric adhesive. The adhesive can be on both sides of the bottom half. The device can be used to mount any flat, non-porous or semi-porous object to another flat, non-porous or semi-porous surface or object. The shape and size of the device does not affect its functionality and can therefore be modified as needed.

A protective case for a mobile terminal, includes a shell and a ring assembly, the shell is defined with a mounting chamber for accommodating the mobile terminal, the ring assembly includes a metal ring and a mounting portion, the mounting portion is fixed on the shell, the metal ring is arranged on a side of the shell opposite to the mounting chamber, the metal ring is pivotally connected with the mounting portion through a fixing shaft, the metal ring and the fixing shaft are jointly formed into an annular body, and a nick is defined on the annular body. As the mounting portion is fixed on the shell, the metal ring is arranged on the side of the shell opposite to the mounting chamber, and the metal ring is pivotally connected with the mounting portion through the fixing shaft, the metal ring can hence be firmly connected with the shell.

A shield system for protecting a curved object is described. The system comprises at least one flexible pad. The at least one flexible pad comprises a spacing ridge (7) projecting at an angle from a first major surface (3) of the pad for providing a spacing between the first major surface and a support ridge (9) projecting from the first major surface and extending transverse to the spacing ridge. The support ridge comprises a flexure region (11) adapted to unbend in the event that the pad is curved about an axis aligned with the spacing ridge to inhibit strain in the support ridge from causing deflection of the spacing ridge.

A method and container for providing an enclosure for a food item includes a plurality of grading marks and a docking station to dock an electronic device. Yet further, the system includes a processor configured to take one or more pictures of the food item using the electronic device, transmit the one or more pictures to a cloud, receive recommended recipes for the food item and display the recommended recipes.

A protective arrangement for an electronic device includes a flexible cover having a panel and a skirt that form an interior cavity to receive an electronic device; and an adapter fixedly positioned in the flexible cover and having a male plug with connectors extending into the interior cavity of the flexible cover for mating with a female socket of the device and a contactor with contacts adjacent outwardly from the flexible cover and electrically coupled to one or more of the connectors of the plug. A docking cradle or external adapter can receive the electronic device and cover.
