Devices and systems for protecting electronic devices
Disclosed herein are systems and devices of electronic device protection. A device for protecting an electronic device can include an inner and outer protective member. The outer protective member being configured to at least partially envelop a first corner of the electronic device, the outer protective member having at least one through hole extending therethrough, the at least one through hole being substantially orthogonal to a primary inner surface of the outer protective member, the outer protective member further having a notch configured to receive a portion of the first corner, the at least one notch being proximate the primary inner surface.
PROTECTIVE CASE FOR MOBILE DEVICE
A protective case for a mobile device that includes a back frame and a front cover is disclosed herein. The back frame has a rigid plastic back frame with are elastomeric material bonded to portions of the plastic frame. An elastomeric insert is positioned around a portion of the interior perimeter of the back frame to provide impact resistance. Back frame engagement members are positioned on the perimeter of the rigid plastic back frame. The front cover mates with the back frame to enclose the elastomeric insert and the device. The front cover includes a touch screen cover and a rigid plastic front frame bonded to a perimeter of the touch screen cover. Front cover engagement members extend from the rigid plastic front frame that engage the back frame engagement members to bold the front cover on the back frame and enclose the device.
System comprising a portable switching device for use with a portable electronic device
A lens and/or a view screen of an electronic device having at least one case can be cleaned by wiping the view screen with a cleaning component wherein the cleaning component is configured to selectively couple to the at least one case or some other substrate using a magnetic attractive force. The cleaning devices may have secondary applications such as securing fly fishing lures, activating or deactivating a device having a magnetic switch, or preventing sunglasses from sinking. They may also be manufactured without a cleaning component for use with the secondary applications.
CASE FOR FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a case for a foldable electronic device, comprising a first housing and a second housing rotatable with respect to the first housing. The case may comprise: a first cover at least partially covering the first housing; a second cover at least partially covering the second housing and rotatable with respect to the first cover; a driving unit for adjusting the angle between the first cover and the second cover; a communication unit for transmitting or receiving information relating to the angle to or from the foldable electronic device; and at least one processor connected to the communication unit so as to receive the information relating to the angle and drive the driving unit accordingly. Various other embodiments may be employed.
APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING EMERGENCY FEATURE ACTIVATION FOR MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A case includes a case body configured to be equipped by the mobile electronic device. The case body includes at least two button accessing means and the mobile electronic device includes at least two physical buttons. The case further includes an actuator coupled to the case body and movable between at least a first position and a second position, where the actuator comprises two or more engagement members. The engagement members, in cooperation with the button accessing means, depress corresponding physical buttons of the mobile electronic device when the mobile electronic device is equipped with the case and the actuator is in the second position. The engagement members are configured to not depress corresponding physical buttons of the mobile electronic device when the actuator is in the first position.
Apparatus Utilizing and Method of Partial Lamination for a Seamless Interface with Touchscreen Functionality
A seamless interface with touchscreen functionality and the method of manufacture are disclosed. An apparatus utilizing the seamless interface with touchscreen functionality, and a method of manufacturing the apparatus are similarly disclosed. The seamless interface has a front member, adhesive means, and a support member with an opening. The apparatus includes a touchscreen device, a rear member, and the seamless interface. The rear member secures the touchscreen device in the opening of the support member, which thereby contacts the front member of the seamless interface. Partially laminating the front member with the support member having an opening utilizing an adhesive means creates the seamless interface. This design enables the touchscreen functionality of the touchscreen device placed behind the front member to transfer through the front member, thereby allowing a user to communicate with the touchscreen device through the seamless interface.
Mobile device case system
One variation of a device case includes a device case body: configured to accept and retain a mobile device; defining a strap receptacle; and including a first set of magnetic features arranged across a base surface of the strap receptacle. The device case further includes a strap: coupled to the device case body; configured to seat within the strap receptacle in a retracted position; configured to accept a finger of a user in a deployed position; and including a second set of magnetic features configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic features to drive the strap from the deployed position to the retracted position and to retain the strap within the strap receptacle in the retracted position.
Portable electronic device case assembly
Systems and methods are involved with but are not limited to an apparatus including a first frame shaped and sized to receive a tablet-shaped computing device; and a second frame shaped and sized to receive the first frame. In addition, other aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
Case system for portable electronic device
Systems and methods involve implementations such as a first aperture extending through an interior base surface and an exterior base surface, and a second aperture extending through the interior base surface and the exterior base surface, wherein the first aperture includes a first plan-view shape and the second aperture includes a second plan-view shape, the first plan-view shape of the first aperture being different that the second plan-view shape of the second aperture; and a bumper assembly including a first engagement member sized and shaped to couple with the first aperture and the least one second engagement member sized and shaped to couple with the second aperture. In addition, other aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.
Wallet for mobile electronic device or mobile electronic device case
