Prefilled disposable injection device
A drug delivery device comprising a drug container extending between a distal end and a proximal end and is capable of being compressed into a single plane; a body extending between proximal and distal ends comprising a hollow space for containing the drug container; and a plunger extending between proximal and distal ends, wherein the distal end of the plunger engages telescopically with the proximal end of the body, wherein the plunger comprises at least one pair of protrusions, wherein the protrusion is capable of compressing the drug container as the plunger moves towards the proximal end of the drug delivery device, by applying a force to the drug container that is perpendicular to the movement of the plunger.
Infusion Pump Assembly
A disposable housing assembly. The disposable housing assembly includes a reservoir cavity, a needle located within the reservoir cavity, a fluid path fluidly connected to the needle, and a cover, wherein the cover is in a first position, the reservoir cavity and needle are exposed and when the cover is in a second position, the reservoir and needle are not exposed.
FLUID INJECTOR WITH SYRINGE ENGAGEMENT MECHANISM
An engagement mechanism associated with a reciprocally movable piston of a fluid injector is configured for releasably engaging an engagement portion at a proximal end of a rolling diaphragm syringe having a flexible sidewall configured for rolling upon itself when acted upon by the piston. The engagement mechanism has a plurality of engagement elements reversibly and radially movable relative to the engagement portion of the syringe between a first position, where the plurality of engagement elements are disengaged from the engagement portion of the syringe, and a second position, where the plurality of engagement elements are engaged with the engagement portion of the syringe. The engagement mechanism further has a drive mechanism for moving the plurality of engagement elements between the first position and the second position.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented for expelling medicament from a mechanically flexible medicament container where the delivery device has a housing having a proximal housing end, a distal housing end, and a central channel extending through the proximal housing end and towards the distal housing end, the central channel being configured to receive the medicament container, wherein the housing has an inner surface provided with a first axial channel and a second axial channel arranged on opposite sides of the central channel, a drive member arranged to move linearly towards the proximal end of the housing, a plurality of first segments arranged one after the other in the first axial channel, and a plurality of second segments arranged one after the other in the second axial channel, wherein the drive member has a first leg and a second leg are configured to move.
Cartridge for Auto-Injector Apparatus
A cartridge assembly apparatus for an auto-injector includes a flexible container containing a liquid medicant. A needle hub is connected to the flexible container. A needle is attached to the needle hub and extends proximally from the needle hub. A frame is connected to the needle hub and includes a frame proximal end extending proximally beyond a proximal end of the needle. The needle hub and the needle are displaceable relative to the frame in a proximal direction to insert the needle into a patient.
Syringe
A syringe, in particular for viscous or liquid dental materials, provided with a syringe housing 12, in which a plunger 22 is guided for displacement in a manner known, wherein the plunger 22 can be removed from the syringe housing 12 and introduced into the syringe housing 12, and with an outlet cannula 20, which is fitted on the syringe housing 12. A region of the syringe housing 12 which is adjacent to the outlet cannula 20 is of deformable design and a region of the syringe housing 12 which is remote from the outlet cannula 20 is of dimensionally stable design.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NEUTRALIZING LOCAL ANESTHETIC
The present disclosure relates to devices and methods for neutralizing an acidic anesthesia solution. An anesthesia neutralization device includes an outer housing and an inner housing. The inner housing holds a buffer carpule and an anesthetic carpule in a side by side arrangement, with the buffer solution maintained under pressure prior to deployment. A curved transfer needle is coupled to the outer housing and includes ends that both point respectively toward the buffer carpule and anesthetic carpule. The device is actuated by moving the inner housing relative to the outer housing to bring the anesthesia carpule and buffer carpule into contact with the transfer needle and to force buffer solution through the transfer needle and into the anesthesia carpule.
Single Use Injector
A single use injector is a disposable injection device that is specifically optimized for production using the blow fill seal (BFS) manufacturing process and includes various mechanisms that render the device inoperable and facilitate its safe disposal after use. The single use injector incorporates an ampoule aseptically filled with a medication that is coupled to a hermetically sealed component system. The hermetically sealed component system incorporates various mechanisms that are actuated during the use of the injection device. The injection device is encased in a removable overtube that prevents contamination. upon removal of the overtube, the injection device is activated, by compression of a needle cap that irreversible punctures the ampoule in order to inject the medication through a needle. The injection device additionally incorporates a shield that deploys over the needle following injection of the medication into a patient.
Automatic Medical Injection Device
The disclosure relates to an automatic medical injection device including a flexible reservoir prefilled with a medical solution. The reservoir includes a needle for injecting the medical solution into a patient's body, and a body removably enclosing the reservoir. The body includes a lower surface adapted to be applied against the patient's skin during an injection of the medical solution, said lower surface including a throughhole adapted for the passage of the needle, and an upper surface opposite to the lower surface, a compression device configured for compressing the reservoir to expel the medical solution through the needle, and an activation button configured to trigger the compression device upon activation by a user.
