Syringe carrier
Described is a syringe carrier comprising a body adapted to receive a barrel of a syringe. The body includes two sections having distal ends with shoulder sections. The shoulder sections are adapted to engage a circumferential gap between the barrel of the syringe and a needle shield covering a needle of the syringe.

PACKAGING AND DEVICES FOR MIXING MEDICAMENT SUBSTANCES
A device (200) for mixing first and second substances. The device comprises a first container (100) for storage of the first substance and a second container (150) received in the first container (100) and for storage of the second substance. An outlet (112) is disposed at the distal end of the first container (100). Valve means (180) are provided for closing a distal end of the second container (150) and a proximal end of the first container (100). A stopper means (166) closes a proximal end of the second chamber (152) and is movable with respect to the second container (150). An operating mechanism drives relative movement between the first and second containers for causing displacement of the second substance into the first chamber (102) through the valve means (180) when the outlet (112) is closed, for mixing the first and second substances in a mixing stroke of the device.
ANTI-ROTATION CARTRIDGE PIN
A system for inserting a pharmaceutical cartridge into a delivery device is described. The cartridge can be inserted in an arbitrary orientation and the system reorients the cartridge to a locked orientation. For example, a driver applies a torque to the cartridge to cause the reorienting. The torque rotates the cartridge around an axis thereof until the cartridge reaches the locked orientation. When the cartridge reaches the locked orientation, an interference element on the cartridge interlocks with a complementary interference element on the delivery device to lock the cartridge in the locked orientation. Once the cartridge is locked in the second orientation, the torque causes discharge the pharmaceutical.
Medicament Container
The present disclosure relates to a medicament container for accommodating a liquid medicament. The medicament container includes an elongated container barrel defining a longitudinal direction and having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is opposite the distal end. The container barrel includes a proximal container cross section at the proximal end. The elongated container barrel includes a distal container cross section at the distal end and the proximal container cross section is substantially identical to the distal container cross section. The medicament container further includes a seal arranged at the distal end and extending across the distal container cross section, and a retainer engaged with the seal and engaged with the elongated container barrel to fix the seal to the distal end.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE, SUBASSEMBLY FOR DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE, SYRINGE HOLDER, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A syringe holder for a drug delivery device is provided. The syringe holder may include a proximal end, a distal end, and a hollow interior configured to receive at least a portion of a syringe. The syringe holder may further include a side opening distal to the proximal end and an outwardly extending protrusion proximal to the side opening. During assembly of the syringe holder into a housing of the drug delivery device the outwardly extending protrusion may be configured to support the syringe holder at a first axial position or an intermediate position with respect to a longitudinal axis of the housing of the drug delivery device. Also provided is a drug delivery device incorporating a syringe holder and a subassembly for a drug delivery device incorporating a syringe holder. A method of assembling a syringe holder into a housing of a drug delivery device is also provided.
CARTRIDGE INSERTION FOR DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drug delivery device includes a compartment sized to receive a cartridge. The compartment includes a cartridge bay that opens so that a cartridge may be inserted into the cartridge bay and that closes when the cartridge is received by the compartment. The drug delivery device also includes a housing including an expanding assembly. The expanding assembly includes a driver supported from a distal end by a linear stabilizer that includes a bearing configured to push against the housing. The driver is rotated by a motor. The expanding assembly also includes two mid screws threadedly connected to the driver, a plunger driver threadedly connected to the two mid screws, and an anti-rotational guide that prevents rotation of the plunger driver.
