The present disclosure relates to a cartridge assembly provided with a fixing member, wherein the fixing member is configured for fastening to a cartridge, wherein the cartridge is configured for insertion into a housing component of a drug delivery device, wherein the housing component comprises a sidewall confining a cartridge receiving space, the cartridge receiving space extending in a longitudinal direction (z), the fixing member comprising: a fastening portion for fastening to a neck portion of the cartridge, a fixing structure comprising a first fixing element configured to engage with a counter fixing structure of the housing component, and an alignment portion configured to align with a counter alignment structure provided on or in the sidewall of the cartridge holder.

Cartridge insertion for drug delivery device

A drug delivery device includes a compartment sized to receive a cartridge. The compartment includes a cartridge bay that opens so that a cartridge may be inserted into the cartridge bay and that closes when the cartridge is received by the compartment. The drug delivery device also includes a housing including an expanding assembly. The expanding assembly includes a driver supported from a distal end by a linear stabilizer that includes a bearing configured to push against the housing. The driver is rotated by a motor. The expanding assembly also includes two mid screws threadedly connected to the driver, a plunger driver threadedly connected to the two mid screws, and an anti-rotational guide that prevents rotation of the plunger driver.

Injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container
11911600 · 2024-02-27 · ·

An injection device for injecting a composition contained in a medical container comprising: a body configured to receive the medical container in a fixed position relative to the body, spring-loaded piston rod translationally movable inside the body along a spring axis, between a proximal rest position and a distal operative position wherein the spring-loaded piston rod engages a stopper of the medical container, and a selective blocking mechanism comprising a braking member selectively tiltable relative to the piston rod between a blocking position wherein the braking member impinges on the piston rod so as to prevent any translational movement of the spring-loaded piston rod in a distal direction by a bracing effect and a releasing position wherein the braking member disengages from the piston rod so as to allow the piston rod to move towards the distal operative position under the spring force.

CARTRIDGE HOLDING UNIT

A cartridge holding unit includes a cartridge container forming an outer surface of the cartridge holding unit and having an inner space, and a cartridge holder forming a tube-shaped holding section arranged in the inner space of the cartridge container, the cartridge holder configured to firmly hold a cartridge in parallel with the cartridge holder and the cartridge holder and the cartridge container are firmly coupled to each other regarding their axial orientations.

SYRINGE CARRIERS

Syringe carriers for medicament delivery devices are described where a medicament delivery device sub-assembly extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end is described having a tubular housing, a tubular syringe carrier inside the housing and a syringe inside the syringe carrier. The syringe includes a needle shield and a medicament container comprising a shoulder. The housing includes a flexible arm extending in the axial direction relative to the longitudinal axis, the flexible arm having an inwardly extending protrusion arranged in a gap between the shoulder and the needle shield. The syringe carrier has a proximal portion and a distal portion, and the proximal portion is arranged adjacent to the flexible arm of the housing so that movement of the flexible arm of the housing in a radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis is restricted by the proximal portion of the syringe carrier.

Syringe carrier

Described is a syringe carrier comprising a body adapted to receive a barrel of a syringe. The body includes two sections having distal ends with shoulder sections. The shoulder sections are adapted to engage a circumferential gap between the barrel of the syringe and a needle shield covering a needle of the syringe.

PACKAGING AND DEVICES FOR MIXING MEDICAMENT SUBSTANCES
20190298926 · 2019-10-03 ·

A device (200) for mixing first and second substances. The device comprises a first container (100) for storage of the first substance and a second container (150) received in the first container (100) and for storage of the second substance. An outlet (112) is disposed at the distal end of the first container (100). Valve means (180) are provided for closing a distal end of the second container (150) and a proximal end of the first container (100). A stopper means (166) closes a proximal end of the second chamber (152) and is movable with respect to the second container (150). An operating mechanism drives relative movement between the first and second containers for causing displacement of the second substance into the first chamber (102) through the valve means (180) when the outlet (112) is closed, for mixing the first and second substances in a mixing stroke of the device.

AUTOINJECTOR WITH A SIGNALING DEVICE
20190290849 · 2019-09-26 ·

An autoinjector for dispensing a liquid product includes a housing; a product container arranged in the housing, particularly, a syringe comprising a displaceable piston; a drive member; a first spring which acts on the drive member and the piston to dispense the product from the container; signal element releasably axially coupled with the drive member so that the signal element is transported in the dispensing direction as said drive member is displaced; and a second spring, which exerts a spring force on the signal element against the dispensing direction and is tensioned as the signal element is transported in the dispensing direction. When the signal element is released or detached from the axial coupling, the second spring causes the signal element to accelerate opposite the dispensing direction and strike against a signal stop and generate an acoustic and/or tactile signal.

Drug Delivery Device with Controlled Needle Shield and Cover Sleeve
20190290859 · 2019-09-26 ·

A drug delivery device includes an inner body adapted to receive a pre-filled syringe with an injection needle, one or more flexible arms on the inner body extending in a distal direction, and one or more support members slidably arranged to operatively outwardly support the flexible arms. The flexible arms have respective inwardly directed protrusions adapted to engage a neck of the syringe. When the support member is in a distal position, it does not support the flexible arms. When the support member is in a proximal position, the support member supports the flexible arms and prevents them from being outwardly deflected.
