MIXING VIAL
A mixing vial having a hollow interior chamber with a tubular portion having distal and proximal open ends and a stopper positioned in sealing relationship in the tubular portion, the stopper having a hollow interior chamber with an open end and a dislodgeable plug positioned in and sealing the open end.
DEVICES FOR RECONSTITUTING AND DELIVERING LYOPHILIZED DRUGS
The present disclosure relates to drug delivery devices, and in particular, to drug delivery devices configured to reconstitute a lyophilized drug powder into liquid form prior to delivery into a patients body. In some embodiments, such devices include a flexible drug reservoir having a proximal reservoir component storing a liquid diluent and a distal reservoir component storing a lyophilized drug powder, wherein the two compartments are separated by a frangible seal. A compression member may be positioned above the reservoir and held up by a releasable mechanism. When released, the compression member may be driven downwards to compress the proximal compartment so as to break the frangible seal and allow the diluent to mix with the drug powder and form a liquid drug mixture, and then to eject the liquid drug mixture from the reservoir.
Mixing vial
A mixing vial having a hollow interior chamber with a tubular portion having distal and proximal open ends and a stopper positioned in sealing relationship in the tubular portion, the stopper having a hollow interior chamber with an open end and a dislodgeable plug positioned in and sealing the open end.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a housing with a proximal end and a distal end, a multi-chamber container arranged in the housing, a power assembly having accumulated energy arranged in the housing and configured to act on the multi-chamber container for obtaining and delivering a blended compound inside the multi-chamber container and a manually operable assembly extending from the distal end of the housing and being connected with the power assembly, wherein upon a manual movement of the manually operable assembly the power assembly is forced to move towards the proximal end to pressurize the multi-chamber container and wherein the medicament delivery device further comprises a needle shield sleeve slidably arranged in the housing, the needle shield sleeve being configured to interact with the power assembly to release the accumulated energy after the power assembly has been moved towards the proximal end.
Medicament delivery device
An injection device with a feedback mechanism includes a housing for a medicament container having a stopper, a plunger rod for acting on the stopper, a button interactively connected to the plunger rod, an activation member having a flexible locking device releasably connected to the plunger rod, a drive force device, a locking member slidable between positions in which the locking member either completely or partially surrounds the flexible locking device, and a guide rod. Audible and tactile information that an injection has started is provided by the plunger rod's hitting the stopper.
DYNAMIC MIXING AND DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR MIXING A THERAPEUTIC AGENT IN AN INJECTOR OR AUTOINJECTOR
A mixing device configured to hold two containers, each having a separate medicament component disposed therein. A fluidic channel is provided that upon creating fluidic communication with each container once seals about each container are opened. Then a transfer mechanism can transfer the medicament components from one container to the other container until ready to be delivered or transferred through the fluidic channel through a delivery assembly.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device includes a housing having a longitudinal axis, a container holder, an axially movable plunger adapted to be displaced along the longitudinal axis into the container holder, and an energy accumulating member arranged inside the housing and adapted for displacing the plunger along the longitudinal axis. The plunger includes an outer plunger rod and an inner plunger rod arranged at least partially inside the outer plunger rod, the inner plunger rod being threadedly engaged with the outer plunger rod and manually rotatable to displace the inner plunger rod along the longitudinal axis into the container holder.
INJECTION DEVICE
An injection device (10) comprising a housing (12), a needle hub (38) slidable within the housing (12), a needle (40) having a distal end piercing tip (42) and a proximal end piercing tip (44), the needle hub being moveable from a first position wherein the distal end piercing tip (42) is within the housing to a second position wherein the distal end piercing tip (42) extends outwardly of the housing (12), a spring (23) biassing the needle hub (38) towards the first position, and a cartridge receiving member (48) mounted within the housing (12), and a plunger rod assembly (66) for exerting pressure on the cartridge receiving member (48) to move the cartridge (26) and the needle hub (38) from the first position to the second position, the plunger rod assembly (66) and the cartridge receiving member (48) being arranged such that when the cartridge rod assembly is pushed, a rotational movement is imparted to the cartridge receiving member (48) to thereby prevent access to the cartridge after injection.
TWO-COMPONENT SYRINGE
A method for mixing a first substance of a first chamber of a syringe and a second substance of a second chamber of the syringe, wherein communication of the first chamber and the second chamber is blocked by a removable member, the method including positioning the first chamber at an elevation higher than the second chamber; removing the removable member to enable communication of the first substance with the second substance to form a mixture; positioning the second chamber at an elevation higher than the first chamber; and replacing the removable member to confine the mixture in the first chamber.
Mix and triggering assembly for a medicament delivery device
A mix and triggering assembly for a medicament delivery device, comprising: a housing structure having a proximal end and a distal end, a delivery member cover, a rotator sleeve, and a triggering member configured to be rotatably locked with the rotator sleeve and the delivery member cover, the triggering member being configured to move axially relative to the rotator sleeve, wherein the delivery member cover, the rotator sleeve and the triggering member are configured to be received by the housing structure, the delivery member cover being configured to extend from the proximal end of the housing structure, wherein the delivery member cover, the rotator sleeve and the triggering member are rotatably arranged relative to the housing structure, wherein the housing structure has a thread structure and the rotator sleeve and the triggering member are configured to be in a threaded connection with the thread structure in a ready to mix position of the triggering member, preventing irrotational axial movement of the triggering member relative to the housing structure towards the distal end of the housing structure, wherein rotation of the delivery member cover relative to the housing structure causes the rotator sleeve and the triggering member to be screwed from the ready to mix position towards the distal end of the housing structure until the triggering member reaches a dose setting position, in which the triggering member is configured to be released from engagement with the thread structure, enabling irrotational axial movement of the triggering member further towards the distal end of the housing structure.
