The present invention relates to a mixing and injector device which can include: a housing having a plurality of separate and distinct chambers disposed therein; one or more displacement mechanisms corresponding to each of the plurality of chambers disposed within the housing; a needle assembly being provided about one of the plurality of chambers, the needle assembly including the following: a septum; a needle being separated from the plurality of chambers by the septum, the needle having a proximal end configured to pierce the septum in an actuated state; and a needle carrier, the needle carrier being configured to translate axially with respect to and toward the septum and pierce the septum and provide fluid communication from the plurality of chambers through the needle in the actuated state.

An injection device is provided with dual medicament chambers and a mixing pen needle assembly, whereby predetermined dosages of two medicaments can be provided to a mixing reservoir in the pen needle assembly and delivered simultaneously with the injection device.

A cartridge (10) for injecting a pharmaceutical solution includes at least one flexible small bag (18, 22) made of thin film walls, having a chamber (12, 14) containing a pharmaceutical substance (S, P, L) and having a head surface (37) being outwardly convex. An administration device comprises a container and a mixing device for mixing an active substance (in a first chamber) with a dilution liquid (in a second chamber). The container has a membrane seal at one end and is combined with a mixing device for mixing the active substance. The administration device has an injection needle unit with a distal needle portion facing away from the container for piercing the skin, and disposed opposite thereto is a proximal needle portion facing the membrane when the administration device is in the initial position, which is thrust through the membrane into the container in a mixing position. The administration device includes a protective sleeve arranged coaxially about the injection needle, movable from the initial position only in the proximal direction relative to the container. The protective sleeve can be non-rotatably connected to the container in the mixing position and rotated relative to the mixing device to perform mixing.

An autoinjector device is provided. The autoinjector device can include an activator unit including an activation housing, an activation guard, and an activation shell such that a portion of the activation guard extends beyond a proximal end of the activation shell. The autoinjector device can include camouflage on a proximal surface to obscure a device lock hole and reduce user confusion around needle orientation.

A medicament delivery device includes a housing, a container holder for a medicament container, a first energy-accumulating member for powering a dispensing of a medicament from the medicament container, a releasable first locking arrangement for locking the first energy-accumulating member in a first energy-storing position, a second energy-accumulating member for powering a mixing of the medicament in the medicament container, and a releasable second locking arrangement for locking the second energy-accumulating member in a second energy-storing position. The second locking arrangement in a first state prevents the first locking arrangement from being released, and in a second state permits the first locking arrangement to be released.

An injection device with a feedback mechanism includes a housing for a medicament container having a stopper, a plunger rod for acting on the stopper, a button interactively connected to the plunger rod, an activation member having a flexible locking device releasably connected to the plunger rod, a drive force device, a locking member slidable between positions in which the locking member either completely or partially surrounds the flexible locking device, and a guide rod. Audible and tactile information that an injection has started is provided by the plunger rod's hitting the stopper.

A device for administering an active substance comprises a multi-chamber carpule having a bypass in one wall and at least one first chamber with a solid active substance and a second chamber with a solvent for the active substance, the second chamber being delimited by a first plug arranged distally in the multi-chamber carpule and a second plug arranged proximally therein; a mixing element is rotatably mounted about a rotational axis in relation to the housing and can be rotated about the rotational axis in a rotational direction in order to mix the active substance and the solvent; and a first detent device is provided on the device such that, after the mixing operation, an axial displacement of the distal end of the second plug in relation to the wall of the multi-chamber carpule is blocked in the proximal direction by means of the distal end of the bypass.
