Injection device with sealed luer fitting
The invention relates to an injection device with a luer fitting. The injection device has a compressible syringe body defining a reservoir. A male luer fitting has a channel therethrough for conducting contents of the reservoir, and a luer tip at an end of said male luer fitting opposing said base end. A first connecting structure is arranged on said male luer fitting between said base end and said luer tip. A shield cap is arranged on the male luer fitting. The shield cap has a second connecting structure interacting with said first connecting structure to prevent inadvertent movement of said shield cap relative to said male luer fitting when said shield cap is arranged at said first position. A first seal is provided for sealing said channel at said luer tip and a second seal is provided for sealing the outer surface and the luer tip.
Syringe for sequential injection of substances
A syringe for the injection of an active substance and for the secondary injection of a medium, the syringe having a cylindrical syringe body with a limiting wall provided in the distal region, which transitions into a neck, two mechanically connected plungers that are axially displaceable in the syringe body, and a first actuating element for mutual displacement of the plungers, wherein, prior to the injection of the active substance, the distal plunger and the limiting wall delimit a first volume that is filled with the active substance, and mutually facing inner surfaces of the plungers delimit a second volume that is filled with the medium, wherein the plungers are displaced as a mechanically coupled unit by the application of force of the first actuating element in the direction of the limiting wall until the distal plunger comes to rest against the limiting wall or a stop.
BONE MATERIAL MIXING AND DISPENSING DEVICES AND METHODS
A device for mixing and dispensing bone material is provided. The device comprises a tubular member having an interior surface configured to receive bone material and a fluid to mix the bone material disposed within the tubular member. The tubular member is flexible and has a proximal opening configured to slidably receive a plunger, and a distal opening configured to dispense a mixed bone material from the interior surface of the tubular member. The plunger is less flexible than the tubular member. Methods of mixing and dispensing bone material are also provided.
Prefilled disposable injection device
The present invention relates to a drug delivery device comprising a drug container having at least one bellow. The at least one bellow has a first surface and an opposing second surface. The first surface is comprised of a first Belleville spring and the opposing second surface is comprised of a second Belleville spring, wherein the second Belleville spring has a higher spring rate than the first Belleville spring.
Cell culture device, system and methods of use thereof
The present invention provides a method for culturing cells in a cell culture container having a base section, a top section arranged in parallel with the top section and a wall element arranged between the top section and the base section and defining an internal lumen of the container, in which the wall element of the container is compressible with respect to the top and bottom section, and in which the top section of the container has an optionally sealable inlet, in which the container is composed of a flexible material, comprising culturing cells in a culture medium in the cell culture container. Also provided is a cell culture container having a base section, a top section arranged in parallel with the top section and a wall element arranged between the top section and the base section and defining an internal lumen of the container, in which the wall element of the container is compressible with respect to the top and bottom section, and in which the top section of the container has an optionally sealable inlet, in which the wall element of the container is composed of a flexible material.
DELIVERY DEVICE FOR A FLEXIBLE LIQUID CONTAINER
A delivery device for delivering liquid from a flexible container is presented having a housing having a first wall provided with a housing first linear gear having housing first linear gear teeth, the housing being configured to receive the flexible container, a first roller having a first compound gear having a first gearwheel provided with first gearwheel teeth and a second gearwheel provided with second gearwheel teeth, and an actuator comprising an actuator first linear gear provided with actuator first linear gear teeth, wherein the first gearwheel teeth are configured to mesh with the housing first linear gear teeth and the second gearwheel teeth are configured to mesh with the actuator first linear gear teeth, wherein the actuator is configured to be moved linearly from a first position to a second position along a longitudinal axis defined by the longitudinal extension of the housing first linear gear.
TREATMENTS FOR HEMOPHILIA A
The present disclosure relates generally to treatments for hemophilia A using a swallowable device containing Factor VIII, wherein the device is structured and formulated to deliver therapeutically effective amounts of Factor VIII into the peritoneum and achieve desired pharmacokinetic and therapeutic results.
Method Of Using A Plungerless Aspiration And/Or Injection Device
A method of using a plungerless aspiration and/or injection device is disclosed herein. The method includes providing a plungerless aspiration and/or injection device; administering to a patient in need thereof, using the plungerless aspiration and/or injection device, a plurality of nanoparticles coated with a biocompatible molecule for cell uptake, the nanoparticles conjugated with at least one gene, an antibody that targets the nanoparticles to a target cell, and a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) editing complex forming a complex of coated nanoparticle-gene-DNA editing complex; delivering the coated nanoparticle-gene-DNA editing complex to the target cell using the nanoparticle of the complex as a carrier of the complex to the target cell without using a viral vector and without using a plasmid vector; and stimulating the coated nanoparticle-gene-DNA editing complex with one or more energy sources under conditions sufficient to introduce the at least one gene into the target cell.
Needleless drug delivery system
The present invention relates generally to a needleless drug delivery system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a needleless drug delivery system, in which durability of a membrane that partitions a space to fill a drug is enhanced by reinforcing a weak portion of the membrane or by forming a double membrane.
Impregnation process for a fibrous substrate, a liquid monomer syrup for the impregnation process, its method of polymerization and structured article obtained thereof
The present invention relates to an impregnation process for a fibrous substrate, a liquid composition for implementing this process and the obtained impregnated fibrous substrate. The impregnated fibrous substrate is suitable for manufacturing mechanical or structured parts or articles. In particular the present invention deals with an industrial process for impregnating a fibrous substrate or long fibers with a viscous liquid composition containing mainly methacrylic, vinylic or acrylic components either in form of monomers or polymers. This viscous composition is called hereafter liquid monomer syrup. The invention concerns also a fibrous substrate pre-impregnated with said syrup which is useful for manufacturing mechanical or structured parts or articles. More particular the impregnation of fibrous substrate with the monomer syrup is achieved in a mould. The present invention concerns also manufacturing process for manufacturing mechanical or structured parts or articles and three-dimensional mechanical or structured parts obtained by this process.
