MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A dose setting mechanism for a medicament delivery device is presented having a locking assembly that reliably and consistently unlocks a dose injection button and concurrently a lead screw when the dose setting mechanism is transitioned from a non-activated state to an activated state. This locking assembly uses a rotating plate having a locking protrusion that engages a radial projecting tab on a rotationally fixed plunger rod nut. An alignment member is also presented that prevents rotational drift of a dosing member.
End of injection indicator for injection pen
A medication injection pen (50) includes a housing (1) and a dose set knob (2) rotatably connected to the housing (1) for setting a dose. An indicator member (200) is movable between a visible position indicating a zero position of the dose set knob (2) and a non-visible position indicating a non-zero position of the dose set knob (2). The indicator member is visible to a user in the visible position and not visible to the user in the non-visible position. The dose set knob is in the zero position when a set dose has been completely administered. Accordingly, a visible indication is provided to the user when a set dose has been completely administered.
Re-useable injector device for syringe
An injector device includes an injector body that receives a syringe; and an injection assembly being configured to dispense medicament from the syringe in a dispensation step. Certain types of injector devices include a sudden completion indicator that indicates when the injection is completed. Certain types of injector devices are configured to dispense two different medicament formulations having different viscosities from syringes without making any changes to the injector devices other than to switch out the syringes. Certain types of injector devices include safety arrangements that inhibit firing of the injector device until front and rear housing assemblies are disposed in predetermined rotational and axial positions relative to each other.
RELOCATION MODULE AND METHODS FOR SURGICAL EQUIPMENT
Modules for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a system to measure and record administration of one or more IV medications or fluids for IV administration.
DRUG INJECTION DEVICE WITH CARTRIDGE HOLDER AUTOMATICALLY OPERATING CLUTCH ALLOWING RESET OF DRIVE MECHANISM AND DRIVE SPRING RE-LOADING UPON CARTRIDGE EXCHANGE
The present disclosure relates to an injection device for setting and dispensing of a dose of a medicament, the device comprising: an elongated main housing to accommodate a cartridge filled with the medicament and defining an axial direction, a piston rod arranged inside the main housing and extending in axial direction along a first axis to operably engage with a piston of the cartridge, a reset member axially displaceable inside the main housing between a proximal operating position and a distal reset position along a second axis radially offset from the first axis to switch the device between a reset mode and an operating mode, a cartridge holder releasably attachable to a distal end of the main housing on the first axis to accommodate a distal end of the cartridge, wherein the cartridge holder comprises a sidewall portion with a radially outwardly protruding lock member to axially engage with the reset member located radially adjacent the cartridge holder.
INJECTION PEN
An injection pen, comprising a housing, a lead screw axially moveable in the housing, a dose set member for dose setting and dose correcting, threadably connected to the housing and having a first mating feature, a setback member having a second mating feature for engaging the first mating feature, a clicker that generates an audible or tactile indication during operation, the clicker being operatively connected to the dose set member, and a push button operatively connected to the setback member to cause the second mating feature to engage the first mating feature during an injection, the push button receiving the clicker, wherein the first mating feature is disengaged from the second mating feature during dose setting and dose correcting and engaged with the second mating feature during an injection.
SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CAPTURING IMAGES OF MEDICAL CONDITION MANAGEMENT EVENTS
A drug delivery device system with mutable indicia and method for using same are provided. The drug delivery device system includes a syringe and/or syringe components (e.g., needle shield, needle guard), or autoinjector pen, or wearable autoinjector with mutable indicia and a software application for an external device to analyze images of the mutable indicia to automatically determine and record status of the drug delivery device. The mutable indicia or codes on the drug delivery device or its components represent different medical events such as dose completion, dose amount, and safety feature deployment or removal and can be detected by and otherwise logged by the external device. The external device may execute an application configured to further process data obtained via captured images of mutable indicia and display related information (e.g., fluid remaining in syringe barrel, delivered dose, and so on).
Chemical liquid injector, method for controlling chemical liquid injector, and computer program
A chemical-liquid injector includes a piston-driving mechanism (130) that moves a piston member of a syringe containing a contrast medium, which includes an actuator and a ram member which is moved back and forth by the actuator, a control circuit (150) which is electrically connected to the actuator, and an operating knob unit (170) which includes an operating knob that is to be operated by an operator, and a rotation sensor that outputs an electric signal corresponding to a rotation of the operating knob. The control circuit is configured to generate a predetermined control signal accordingly, on the basis of a signal from the rotation sensor, and the piston-driving mechanism is operated according to the control signal.
A SUPPLEMENTARY DEVICE FOR ATTACHMENT TO A DRUG INJECTION DEVICE FOR MONITORING INJECTION DOSES HAVING OCR IMAGING SYSTEM WITH GLARE REDUCTION
The present disclosure relates to a supplementary device for attachment to an injection device including an imaging arrangement configured to capture an image of a moveable number sleeve of the injection device, a plurality of light sources, and a processor arrangement configured to control operation of the imaging arrangement and the plurality of light sources and to receive image data from the imaging arrangement. In some instances, the processor arrangement is configured to activate the plurality of light sources sequentially and to combine multiple images captured by the imaging apparatus under different illumination conditions into a single image.
