A quick-connect syringe and needle system is provided including a syringe having a threaded portion, a needle assembly having a needle body and a needle affixed to the needle body and an intermediate adapter engageable with the syringe and releasably engageable with the needle body. A quick-connect mechanism is provided on the needle body and intermediate adapter for quickly and easily connecting the needle assembly with the syringe and intermediate adapter. The quick-connect mechanism can include a pair of diametrically opposed L-shaped slots formed in a rear portion of the needle body and a pair of corresponding and diametrically opposed projections extending from a front or locking portion of the intermediate adapter. The needle assembly is attached to the intermediate adapter by inserting the projections into the slots and giving the assembly a quick quarter turn to firmly seat the projections within the slots.

Mixing nozzle, application device, kit and method using the mixing nozzle or application device

The present invention generally relates to a mixing nozzle (12) for mixing at least two liquid compositions such as a first liquid composition and a second liquid composition. The mixing nozzle (10) is configured to be coupled to a body (11) of a multi-component application device (10), in particular to a body (11) of a two-component syringe assembly, for injection of a liquid composition, which body (11) is configured to separately store said at least two solutions. The present invention further relates to a multi-component application device (10) comprising said mixing nozzle (12) and to a kit comprising said mixing nozzle (12) or said application device (10). Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method using said application device or said kit, for example for replacing or filling a biological tissue or increasing the volume of a biological tissue.

BENT FLUID PATH ADD ON TO A PREFILLED FLUID RESERVOIR

An add-on for a self-injector is described. The add-on includes an adaptor having at a rigid and a bent fluid path. The adaptor is sized and fitted to sterilely couple the bent fluid path to a tip of a fluid reservoir. The add-on also includes a fastener sized and fitted to couple a body of the fluid reservoir to the self-injector. The internal diameter of the fastener is adjustable. The adaptor and the fastener couple to the self-injector to at least one of a plurality of reservoirs having different sizes and tip types. The self-injector can include a support plate with a plurality of attachment points. The fastener can be sized and fitted to couple to the body of the fluid reservoir and to at least one of the attachment points. A retention cantilever can releasably couple the at least one fastener to the support plate.

Sliding syringe cap for separate filling and delivery

A cap for intake and delivery of a fluid from a syringe is described. The cap includes an outer cap assembly comprising a fluid inlet path and a fluid outlet path and an inner cap assembly configured for insertion into a fluid nozzle of the syringe and to provide selective fluid communication between an interior of a syringe and the fluid inlet path or the fluid outlet path. The outer cap assembly is slidable relative to the inner cap assembly between a first filling position, where the interior of the syringe is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet path, and a second delivery position, where the interior of the syringe is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet path. Syringes including the cap are also described.
