STORAGE CASE

A pharmaceutical syringe unit is configured to be mounted to a pharmaceutical injection device main body and hold a pharmaceutical-filled pharmaceutical syringe, in order to mount the pharmaceutical syringe to a pharmaceutical injection device, wherein a syringe cover is configured to slide forward and backward with respect to a distal end cap by operation of the pharmaceutical injection device main body, thereby allowing movement between a needle insertion position at which insertion of an injection needle into a target is to be completed, and a needle withdrawal position at which withdrawal of the injection needle from the target is to be completed, and a guide component is configured to guide the syringe cover over a range that is greater than a distance between the needle insertion position and the needle withdrawal position.

Partially lubricated syringe barrels, plungers, and seal members and related methods

Syringe systems including barrels having lubricated portions and non-lubricated portions are provided. The non-lubricated portions may be configured to be loaded with injectable materials, such as embolic agents. The injectable materials may comprise polyvinyl alcohol. Also provided are methods of lubricating portions of barrels of syringe systems with lubricants including silicone or silicone-free lubricants.

Medicant injection device

A medicant injection device includes a compressible body, a tip, and an outer luer body. The compressible body has a proximal end, a distal end, and a plurality of bellows, and defines an inner cavity for holding a liquid medicant. The tip is positioned at the proximal end of the compressible body. The outer luer body includes internal threads, and is positioned over and engaged with the tip to form a first fitting therewith. The first fitting is configured to be connected with a second fitting. A medicant injection device includes a compressible body having first and second arms, a receptacle interconnected with the compressible body and defining an inner cavity, and a first fitting configured to engage a second fitting. The compressible body is configured to be compressed by forcing the distal end of the first and second arm toward each other.

A cartridge having a plunger cylinder with an external diameter smaller than a piston cylinder internal diameter. The cartridge has a plunger cylinder adapted to fit within a breach opening of a syringe. The piston cylinder having a larger internal diameter than the external diameter of the plunger cylinder, the cartridge is capable of holding a larger volume of material in the piston cylinder than could be held in the plunger cylinder fitted within the syringe breach opening. A piston placed in the piston cylinder has a concave surface.

Conditioning harvested fat for re-injection

A fat conditioning apparatus includes a conditioning vessel enclosing a conditioning chamber and a displacable plug. The conditioning chamber is bounded on one end by the displacable plug and has a variable volume that is a function of the position of the plug within the conditioning vessel. The apparatus has utility in a fat conditioning method, wherein the conditioning chamber contains a harvested fat emulsion. A washing liquid is injected into the conditioning chamber and mixes with the harvested fat emulsion, thereby displacing the plug in an outward expansion direction and expanding the variable volume of the conditioning chamber. The resulting mixture of harvested fat emulsion and washing liquid is stratified in the conditioning chamber into a contaminant-lean fat fraction and a contaminant-rich remainder fraction. The fat fraction, which is substantially free of the remainder fraction, is recovered from the conditioning chamber as a desired product of the method.

ADJUSTABLE INJECTION DEVICE

An apparatus and method for adjusting an injection device for administering a substance that includes a device housing with an array of fastening points. The apparatus has at least two housing-like shells, each having at least one holding device and at least one blocking device for attaching to the housing. The holding device of a first shell can be attached to a fastening point, and the holding device of a second shell can be attached to a further fastening point. Upon attaching all of the plurality of housing-like shells to the housing, the blocking devices of the plurality of housing-like shells prevent the disengagement of the plurality of housing-like shells from the housing by blocking detachment of the holding devices from the fastening points. At least one of the housing-like shells comprises an electronic assembly and shell attachment to the housing activates the electronic assembly.

Pharmaceutical syringe unit, pharmaceutical injection device equipped with said unit, injection needle attachment and removal fixture, and storage case

Transport Lock Assembly, and a Medicament Delivery Device Comprising the Transport Lock Assembly

A transport lock assembly for a medicament delivery device, wherein the transport lock assembly comprises a powerpack (30) having a locking member (50, 50, 50) configured to interact with a control member (60), which locking member (50, 50, 50) is movable, relative to the control member (60), from a first state in which the control member (60) is immobilized, to a second state in which the control member (60) is free to move; wherein the transport lock assembly further comprises a housing part (20) having a key member (22), such that assembly of the powerpack (30) with the housing part (20) causes the key member (22) to move the locking member (50, 50, 50) from the first state to the second state.

Fluid transfer devices

A fluid transfer device may include a body member and a fluid transfer tip, wherein the fluid transfer tip may include a tapered friction fitting for a corresponding hub. The fluid transfer device also may include a disconnecting member having a front portion and a rear portion and engagement features operating between the disconnecting member and the body member. The engagement features engage with one another to inhibit the front portion of the disconnecting member from moving relative to the fluid transfer tip. The fluid transfer device is arranged such that upon application of a force to the rear portion of the disconnecting member, the disconnecting member deforms so that the engagement features are no longer in engagement with one another. This allows the front portion of the disconnecting member to move relative to the fluid transfer tip and subsequently release the hub from the friction fitting.

Container holder assembly

Container holder assembly for use in a medicament delivery device, comprising a tubular body elongated in an axial direction, said tubular body having a proximal end and an opposite distal end, and a retaining member releasably arranged to said tubular body for securing an elongated container placed inside the tubular body, wherein said retaining member comprises a resilient structure capable of exerting an axial force on said container in said tubular body for holding the container in a fixed position inside the tubular body and thereby avoiding displacement or breakage of the container and wherein a distal end of said container protrudes from a distal end of said tubular body.
