A dose recording device (100) for a drug delivery device is disclosed, wherein the drug delivery device comprises a housing, a cartridge holder configured to receive a cartridge for holding a plurality of doses of a drug, and a dose setting member connected to the housing and configured to set the dose of the drug. The dose recording device (100) comprises a device housing (102), an electronic controller (114) disposed within the device housing (102), and at least one identifier member (120) configured to be mounted to the device housing (102). The electronic controller (114) comprises switches (116). The identifier member (120) comprises at least one actuation member (122) configured to actuate at least one of the switches (116) when mounted to the device housing (102). An actuation of the switch (116) is configured to provide additional information on the drug.

Prefilled injection device with cleaning chamber

The invention relates to an injection device comprising an End-of-Content mechanism. The End-of-Content mechanism comprises a piston rod (10) being driven forward by a rotatable piston rod guide (20), a driver (50) attached to a dose setting tube (30) and an End-of-Content tube (40). The End-of-Content tube is moved axially forward during dose setting a distance which correlates to the size of the dose being set. When the accumulated set and ejected dose equals the injectable amount initially available in the cartridge (3), the End-of-Content tube engages a lock mechanism provided in the piston rod guide and the driver engages a stop surface on the End-of-Content tube. Once the End-of-Content mechanism is locked, no further dose can be set and the piston rod guide cannot be rotated. In order to provide a proper engagement between the piston rod guide and the driver, the End-of-Content mechanism is released during dose expelling.

Method and Electronic Device for Acquiring Delivery Information

The present disclosure relates to an information acquisition system, an electronic device and to a method of acquiring delivery information of a drug delivery device configured for delivery of a dose of a medicament. The drug delivery device includes a housing and a mechanically implemented post-dispensing indicator. A configuration of the post-dispensing indicator visible from outside the drug delivery device is indicative of a size of a dose previously delivered by the drug delivery device. An image of the post-dispensing indicator is captured after delivery of the dose. -The image is processed and the configuration of the post-dispensing indicator is recognized in the image. A dose size is derived from the recognized configuration of the post-dispensing indicator. The dose size is assigned with a timestamp, storing the dose size with the timestamp in a storage.

Drive mechanisms suitable for use in drug delivery devices

The present disclosure is directed to a dose setting mechanism that may be used with a drug delivery device. The dose setting mechanism may include an inner body having a helical thread along an outer cylindrical surface of the inner body, and a drive sleeve for driving a piston rod in an axial direction, the drive sleeve positioned within at least a portion of the inner body. The dose setting mechanism may further include a dose dial sleeve rotatably engaged with the helical thread of the inner body and a dial grip connected to the dose dial sleeve and releasably connected to the drive sleeve. Further when a dose is set, the dial grip is rotated so that both the dose dial sleeve and the drive sleeve rotate with respect to the inner body.
