Hybrid blunt cannula with puncture needle assembly
A hybrid blunt cannula with puncture needle assembly provides an outer cannula member comprising a needle channel, an eye, a stopper member disposed at the second end of the cannula member, and an inner needle disposed inside the needle channel and coupled to buttons. The buttons follow a translation path between a static position and an insertion position. The static position enables the free end of inner needle to be proximal to the second end of the outer cannula member, and within the needle channel. The insertion position enables the free end of the inner needle to be proximal to second end of the outer cannula member and partially outside of the outer needle's channel. The free end of inner needle is operable to penetrate the stopper member while in insertion position for discharge of a liquid through the eye.
NEEDLE BASE UNIT, NEEDLE BASE UNIT PRODUCTION METHOD AND SYRINGE DEVICE
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a needle hub unit and the manufacturing method thereof, that enables injection with the least possible waste of a medicinal solution. The present invention is provided with a needle hub, a recess provided in the needle hub and into which a tip portion of an injection cylinder is inserted, an elastic body internally provided in the recess and fills a gap between the tip of the injection cylinder and the recess, and an injection needle inserted into the needle hub and penetrating through the elastic body, whereby the injected medicinal solution passes only through the injection needle, thus the remaining of the medicinal solution in the needle hub is prevented.
A SAFETY INJECTION NEEDLE ASSEMBLY
The present invention relates to a safety injection needle assembly (100) comprising an injection needle (110) affixed to a hub (120) having a stud (130) and a receiving means (140) for receiving a dental syringe, an inner sheath (150) having a slit (190) to receive the stud (130) for retaining the injection needle (110), and an outer sheath (220) and a cap (240) for housing the inner sheath (150). In addition, a pair of outer studs (170) of the inner sheath (150) complements with an outer sheath inlet (230) and a cap inlet (250) for removably engaged and locked via locking means (210). The slit (190) comprises a plurality of terminal ends (200) for receiving and locking the stud (130) via the locking means (210). Preferably, the safety injection needle assembly (100) comprises a sealing member (260) having two set of indicators (280) for indicating position.
Introducer Components, Assemblies, and Methods Thereof
Disclosed are introducer components, assemblies, and methods. For example, an introducer assembly can include an access guidewire loaded in a needle assembly fluidly connected to a syringe. The needle assembly can include a needle and a valve thereover. The needle can include a needle shaft including a needle lumen, a needle slot in a proximal portion of the needle shaft, and a needle hub over the proximal portion of the needle shaft but proximal of the needle slot. The valve can be over the needle slot with a valve port aligned with the needle slot. The access guidewire can be loaded in the needle lumen and sealed therein by way of the valve port in a ready-to-deploy state of the introducer assembly. In this way, the access guidewire can be immediately advanced into a blood-vessel lumen of a patient upon establishing a needle tract thereto with the needle assembly.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR OCULAR INJECTION
An apparatus includes a housing coupled to a medicament container, which is coupled to a needle. An injection assembly is disposed within the housing and includes an energy storage member and an actuation rod. A distal end portion of the actuation rod is disposed within the medicament container. The energy storage member can produce a force on a proximal end portion of the actuation rod sufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container. This can convey at least a portion of a substance from the medicament container via the needle when a distal tip of the needle is disposed within a first region of a target location. The force is insufficient to move the distal end portion of the actuation rod within the medicament container when the distal tip of the needle is disposed within a second region of the target location.
Injector Device
An injector device includes a housing and a cartridge having a reservoir for medicament. The injector device further includes a needle unit comprising a needle, and an actuator. The needle unit is movably mounted to the housing and, prior to use of the injector device the reservoir, is sealed from the needle. The actuator is configured to move the needle unit into engagement with the cartridge such that the needle is moved into fluid communication with the reservoir. A thread is arranged to cause rotation of the needle unit as the needle unit moves into engagement with the cartridge.
INJECTION DEVICES WITH AUTOMATIC PRIMING
An injection device comprises a needle holder that supports a needle, and a vial holder that supports a vial. A spring urges the needle holder to move towards the vial holder but that movement is restrained by a latch until the time of use. Releasing the latch primes the device by allowing the needle holder to move, whereby a proximal end of the needle pierces a septum of the vial. The latch is preferably released by rotating an actuator. The same rotation preferably frees the needle holder and vial to be advanced axially relative to the actuator, whereby a distal end of the needle can be introduced into the skin of a subject. Compressed air from a tank may be used to drive the discharge of the vial. The air tank preferably surrounds the vial and provides a broad proximal surface, against which manual pressure can be applied to the device.
Assisted catheter advancement
A catheter assembly may include an introducer needle coupled to a needle hub, an intermediate member having a contact surface, a resilient member, and a ramp member. The resilient member may be coupled to one of the needle hub and the intermediate member. The ramp member may be coupled to the other one of the needle hub and the intermediate member. The resilient member may engage a ramp surface of the ramp member and impart a force on the intermediate member in a distal direction. The contact surface of the intermediate member may engage a proximal surface of a catheter adapter body and urge the catheter adapter body in the distal direction such that a catheter projecting from the catheter adapter body may be translated in the distal direction relative to the introducer needle.
Needle assembly
A needle assembly includes a needle, a rear needle cap and a front needle cap. The needle includes a needle hub and a needle shaft running through and attached to the needle hub. The shaft incorporates two sharp ends and an internal channel running through the entire length of the shaft. The needle hub includes a rear needle body and a front needle body. The rear needle cap is adapted to be attached to the rear needle body and the front needle cap is adapted to be attached to the front needle body. The front needle body incorporates a guiding channel and a locking receptacle connecting to and extending from the guiding channel in a needle detachment direction. The front needle cap includes an internal locking plug adapted to move along the guiding channel and be disposed inside the locking receptacle. The front needle cap also incorporates a funnel lip.
LOW DEAD SPACE NEEDLE HUB
The present invention relates to a low dead space hub and a needle coupled to said hub, the dead space of which has a storage capacity of less than about 0.0190 milliliters.
