Hybrid powertrain
A hybrid power-train includes an input shaft connected to an engine and an output shaft disposed in parallel with the input shaft. A motor is connected to the input shaft and the output shaft. A drive mechanism connects the engine, the motor, and the output shaft. A plurality of clutches are operable for coupling and releasing, respectively, to perform a mode conversion.
METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR MITIGATING ENGINE AND MOTOR TORQUE DISTURBANCES OF A HYBRID VEHICLE
Systems and methods for operating a transmission of a hybrid powertrain that includes a motor/generator are described. The systems and methods may improve engine starting during engine starts where little or larger driver demand torques are requested. In one example, engine torque may be commanded to a torque based on a filtered driver demand torque, the filtered driver demand torque filtered based on a position of an accelerator pedal.
Hybrid power train
A hybrid power train may include a first friction element installed between an engine and a motor, a second friction element installed between the motor and the output shaft, and a planetary gear set including a plurality of rotating elements, in which the second friction element comprises a brake connected to any one rotating element of the planetary gear set.

Disclosed are a hybrid power system of a vehicle and a control method therefor. The hybrid power system of a vehicle comprises: an engine; a dual-clutch automatic transmission comprising an ISG motor; a first power unit and a second power unit; a power battery, the power battery being connected to the ISG motor by the first power unit; a power battery manager, the power battery manager being connected to the power battery and used to test an SOC of the power battery; a rear wheel drive motor, the rear wheel drive motor being connected to the power battery by the second power unit, and the rear wheel drive motor being connected to a rear speed reducer of the vehicle; and a vehicle controller, the vehicle controller being connected to the power battery manager, and the vehicle controller controlling the vehicle to enter a corresponding operating mode according to the SOC and drive required torque WTD at a wheel of the vehicle. The hybrid power system of a vehicle and the control method therefor can ensure that a vehicle operates in the best operating mode, thereby improving the performance of the vehicle.
HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND METHOD OF EFFICIENTLY CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION THEREOF
A transmission control method that improves fuel economy when gear shift and engine clutch release are to be simultaneously performed is provided. A parallel type hybrid electric vehicle having an engine clutch mounted between an electric motor and an engine includes a first controller that executes transmission gear shift during a first control period and a second controller that operates the engine clutch and generates an engine clutch release request. A third controller permits the engine clutch release request to release the engine clutch before the second control period upon determining that a time when the release request has been generated is within a third control period, which is a period before a second control period in which actual shift is generated within the first control period, and a remaining time until a time when the second control period is started is equal to or greater than a critical time.
DRIVE UNIT FOR HYBRID VEHICLE
A drive unit for a hybrid vehicle an axial length thereof is shortened is provided. A power distribution device is disposed in an inner circumferential side of a cylindrical output gear, and at least a portion of a second clutch is also disposed in the inner circumferential side of the output gear while being adjacent to the power distribution device in an axial direction.
ROAD VEHICLE WITH AN ELECTRIC DRIVE
A road vehicle with an electric drive having: a heat engine provided with a carrier shaft; a gearbox; at least one pump actuated by a carrier shaft; at least a reversible electric machine; a first mechanical transmission, which transmits the motion from the drive shaft of the heat engine to the carrier shaft and is provided with a first freewheel; a second mechanical transmission, which transmits the motion from the shaft of the electric machine to the carrier shaft and is provided with a second freewheel; and a third mechanical transmission, which is arranged in parallel to the second mechanical transmission, transmits the motion from the shaft of the electric machine to the carrier shaft, is provided with a third freewheel and reverses the direction of motion with respect to the second mechanical transmission.
DETERMINATION OF A CLUTCH TEMPERATURE
A hybrid drive including a first drive motor coupled by a clutch to a shaft, and a second drive motor coupled rigidly to the shaft. A method for determining the temperature of the clutch in the hybrid drive includes the steps of: determining a temperature of the clutch; determining a temperature of the clutch housing; determining the temperature difference between the clutch and the clutch housing; determining the heat conductivity between the clutch and the clutch housing, wherein the heat conductivity is determined as a function of the rotational speed of the first drive motor and the rotational speed of the second drive motor; determining the heat flow between the clutch and the clutch housing on the basis of the product of the heat conductivity and the temperature difference; and adjusting the ascertained clutch temperature on the basis of the ascertained heat flow.
Power transmission apparatus for hybrid electric vehicle
A transmission for a vehicle may include first and second input shafts, first and second shifting output units, a reverse speed idle unit and an electric driving force unit. Each input shaft may include a plurality of input gears having different numbers of gear teeth. The second input shaft may be hollow and disposed at a front side of the first input shaft without any rotational interference with the first input shaft. Each shifting output unit may include an output shaft, shift rotational driving force transferred through shifting gears selectively outer-engaging with corresponding input gears by a synchronizing unit and output the shifted rotational driving force through an output gear. The reverse speed idle unit may regulate reverse speed shifting. The electric driving force unit may selectively transfer rotational driving force of a motor/generator to the first input shaft or the second shifting output unit.
Drive apparatus for vehicle
A drive apparatus for a vehicle includes an engine, an MG, a first rotary shaft, a second rotary shaft, a transmission disposed between the first rotating shaft and the second rotary shaft, a driving wheel, a first clutch capable of interrupting power transmission between the engine and the first rotary shaft, a second clutch capable of interrupting power transmission between the MG and the first rotary shaft, and an ECU for controlling the engine, the MG, the transmission, the first clutch and the second clutch. The ECU releases the second clutch as a rotation speed of the first rotary shaft becomes higher than a threshold value, and sets the threshold value lower in the case where an acceleration request is issued from the driver than in the case where no acceleration request is issued to reduce the operation times for the clutch to engage or disengage the MG.
