An inhaler article holder is configured to induce swirling inhalation airflow to an inhaler article. The holder is configured to cooperate with the inhaler article to deliver a high dose of dry powder to the user over a limited number of inhalation. The holder and an inhaler article may form an inhaler system to which this disclosure is also directed.

An opening element for opening an ampoule in an aerosol generation device includes a first member which has a conduit extending therethrough for guiding a fluid contained in the ampoule through the first member and a second member which is arranged at least partly inside or on the conduit. Further, an aerosol generation device includes such an opening element.

A fluid dispenser device including a body and a cover that pivots between a closed position and an open position and reservoirs each containing a dose of fluid. The reservoirs are arranged on a strip and an opening mechanism is provided. The device includes a movable support to move a reservoir against the opening mechanism. The movable support is movable between a non-dispensing position and a dispensing position. The device includes a strip-rolling system having a drum and an actuator member. The actuator member turning relative to the body in a first direction when the movable support is moved from the non-dispensing position towards the dispensing position, and in a second direction when the movable support is moved from their dispensing position towards the non-dispensing position. The actuator member causes the drum to turn only when turning in the second turning direction.

The invention relates to an internal seal system. The internal seal may be incorporated into a pre-filled, small-volume nebulizer assembly with a T-connector. The small-volume nebulizer may be pre-filled with at least one unit-dose of medicine and hermetically sealed until use by an input port seal and the internal seal. The internal seal may operate as a valve when the assembly is changed into a second configuration.

An improved dry-powder inhalation device having a casing having an air inlet located at a first terminus; a powder delivery port located at a second terminus, which is positioned distal to the air inlet; and an elongated support panel located within an interior of the casing and being fitted within the casing so as to partially rotate therein about a single axis. The casing has at least one compartment containing dry-powder located proximally to the second terminus, and the support panel has a plurality of needle-like structures located proximal to the delivery port and arranged opposite the dry-powder compartment. The compartment with a dry-powder includes a cover encasing the dry-powder, whereby airflow through the device causes the elongated support panel to partially rotate repeatedly within the casing, whereby the plurality of needle-like structures strike the covered compartment, causing the dry-powder to be released into the airflow.

A fluid dispenser device comprising a body (10) that supports, in stationary manner, a reservoir (20) containing fluid, a dispenser head (30) being assembled on said body (10) so as to be axially movable relative to said reservoir (20), said dispenser head (30) being provided with a dispenser orifice (31), said dispenser head (30) including a proximal bearing surface (35) that, during actuation, receives at least one, and typically two, of the user's fingers, and said body (10) including a distal bearing surface (15) that, during actuation, is suitable for receiving one of the user's fingers, and typically the thumb, said device including a removable actuator member (40) that is fastened in removable manner on said body (10) at said distal bearing surface (15), said removable actuator member (40) having a radial dimension that is greater than the radial dimension of said bearing surface (15).

The sleeve is arranged to receive an inhaler article and the sleeve is movable within the housing cavity between a first position and a second position. A piercing element is arranged to pierce the inhaler article received within the sleeve when the sleeve is in the second position. The sleeve is electrically coupled to the housing to form a static electricity discharge circuit when the housing is electrically grounded.

Relative movement between portions of a reservoir establish a set volume of medication for delivery.
