A vapor-generating system includes a cartridge, a vapor-generating device and a piercing element. The cartridge includes a cartridge housing configured to hold a solid vapor-forming substrate within the cartridge housing interior, a liquid storage housing configured to hold a liquid vapor-forming substrate within the liquid storage housing interior, and a frangible seal on the liquid storage housing. The vapor-generating device includes a device housing at least partially defining a cavity, an electric heater, and a power supply. The piercing element is configured to pierce the frangible seal of the cartridge to expose the liquid storage housing interior to be in fluid communication with the electric heater based on the vapor-generating device coupling with the cartridge such that the device housing at least partially receives the cartridge into the cavity. The electric heater is located externally from the piercing element.

Device for dispensing a fluid product having a body (1) and dispensing head (2) provided with a dispensing opening (3) and axially movable with respect to the body (1) during actuation. The body (1) accommodates a reservoir (10) containing one or two doses of fluid product. A device for dispensing a fluid product, having a body with a dispensing orifice, two removable reservoirs each containing a single dose of fluid product, a dispensing mechanism, and an actuating mechanism. The reservoirs are closed before the dispensing device is actuated. The body has a mechanism for opening each reservoir and adapted to open the reservoirs during actuation of the device. The reservoirs each form a sealed unit which is separate from said body, each reservoir filled with a respective fluid product and hermetically sealed before installed in the body. The body has a receiving mechanism for lateral installation of the reservoirs in the body.

The invention relates to a capsule for use in a vaporizer, having at least one first cavity formed at least in part by a lid, side walls and bottom of the capsule, and a vaporizable active substance accommodated in the first cavity of the capsule, wherein the side walls and/or the bottom are at least in sections double-walled with an inner wall facing the first cavity of the capsule and an outer wall facing the outside of the capsule, so that at least one second cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall of the capsule, inner wall facing the first cavity of the capsule and an outer wall facing the outside of the capsule, so that at least one second cavity is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall, wherein an auxiliary substance, preferably a further active substance, a chemical reactant and/or a flavoring agent is accommodated in the second cavity. The invention relates to a device for tabletting a powdered, liquid, pasty, encapsulated or granular active ingredient composition, having a magazine which has a plurality of active ingredient containers each with an individually controllable dosing device and a nozzle for the active ingredient outlet, wherein the magazine is adjustable between a plurality of setting positions relative to at least one die chamber, wherein in each of the setting positions at least one of the nozzles faces an opening of the die chamber. A corresponding method is further described.

Methods and devices for delivering one or more substances within at least one body cavity are provided. The device includes at least one nosepiece including at least one capsule having a volume V.sub.sub of the substances; at least one base in communication with the nosepiece, the base including at least one chamber configured to confine pressurized fluid at volume V.sub.PF and pressure P.sub.PF; and at least one hollow puncturing member. The hollow puncturing member includes at least one end in fluid communication with the nosepiece and a second end in fluid communication with the base. The first and second ends are fluidly interconnected by a hollow tube. The fluid inlet port of the capsule is configured in terms of size and shape to interface in a sealable manner with the one end of the at least one puncturing member.

Disposable ampoule for use in an aerosol generating device, comprising: a medicament container that contains a medicament and is formed of a container body and a container bottom, and a predetermined break point that at least partly surrounds the container bottom, characterised by a collar that surrounds the predetermined break point at its outside and extends the container body over and beyond the container bottom.
