DERMAL SPRAY APPARATUS AND METHOD
20220095768 · 2022-03-31 ·

A system and method for dermal spraying includes a portable, hand-held dermal application device with disposable formulation capsules that spray a formulation unto the skin and a data transmission unit operatively connecting the dermal spray device to a mobile device. The mobile device communicates with a remote server and transmits anonymized data about the user's skin conditions and treatment history. The anonymized data may be labelled and classified by a dermatologist, and stored on a secure cloud server. The anonymized data is used to train models for serum and treatment plan recommenders.

PRESSURE RELEASE FOR MEDICAL DEVICES

A device configured to deliver a pressurized fluid includes a body having an input opening for receiving the pressurized fluid and an output opening for delivering the pressurized fluid, a handle defining a lumen, wherein the lumen is configured to receive a container containing the pressurized fluid, and at least one aperture fluidly connecting the lumen to an atmosphere external of the device.

Vibrating blister

Disclosed is an inhaler and a method for using the inhaler for the inhalation of a formulation from a carrier. The carrier contains the formulation in a receptacle and is set oscillating by an air current. An improved or defined delivery and nebulisation of the preferably powdered formulation is made possible by the fact that the carrier is set oscillating in defined manner, the formulation is dispensed through a cover element having three to five holes and/or the air current flows onto a fin associated with the carrier and flows past at least substantially only one flat side of the carrier.

The present invention provides a drug delivery system that includes a housing configured to contain one or more dispensers. Each dispenser includes an activation mechanism, a nozzle configured to direct the medicament to a predetermined area in the nasal passageway. The nozzles may be configured to create a spray pattern that is about 50-degrees to direct the delivery of a medicament to the sphenopalatine ganglion.

DEVICE FOR TABLETING A POWDER, LIQUID, PASTE, ENCAPSULATED OR GRANULAR ACTIVE INGREDIENT COMPOSITION
20220062108 · 2022-03-03 ·

The invention relates to a device for tabletting a powdered, liquid, pasty, encapsulated or granular active ingredient composition, having a magazine which has a plurality of active ingredient containers each with an individually controllable dosing device and a nozzle for the active ingredient outlet, wherein the magazine is adjustable between a plurality of setting positions relative to at least one die chamber, wherein in each of the setting positions at least one of the nozzles faces an opening of the die chamber. A corresponding method is further described.

PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A GASEOUS ACTIVE INGREDIENT OR A GASEOUS ACTIVE INGREDIENT MIXTURE, KIT FOR USE THEREIN AND GASEOUS COMPOSITION
20220054769 · 2022-02-24 ·

The present invention relates to a kit comprising: a) a bag having an outlet, the outlet being closable and openable; b) a solid and/or liquid active agent precursor; and c) means for releasing a gaseous active agent or a gaseous active agent mixture from the active agent precursor; a method for producing a gaseous active agent or a gaseous active agent mixture comprising the steps: a) providing the kit; b) providing the solid and/or liquid active ingredient precursor in the bag; and c) releasing the gaseous active ingredient or the gaseous active ingredient mixture from the solid and/or liquid active ingredient precursor with the aid of the means for releasing a gaseous active ingredient or a gaseous active ingredient mixture, and a gaseous composition obtainable by the process.

SINGLE DOSE INHALER MONITORING ATTACHMENT

A medicament device sensor (Sensor) comprises a body, a front wall, a back wall, an audio sensor, and a plurality of pressure sensors. The body includes a bottom surface on which the various sensors are coupled. The front wall and the back wall provide mirror symmetry in at most one plane, thereby defining a single orientation in which the Sensor attaches to the medicament device. The front wall includes a securement clip that attaches to a ledge on the medicament device. To detect secure attachment of the Sensor to the medicament device, one pressure sensor detects pressure when the Sensor is secured to the medicament device. Another one or more pressure sensors detect depression of one or more dosing buttons confirming priming of the medicament device. The audio sensor detects an inhalation confirming dispensing of medicament. In effect, the Sensor determines a dispensing event has occurred.
