IMPROVED LARYNGEAL MASK
A device for maintaining an airway in a patient includes a mask having a portion that forms a seal with the larynx when the mask is positioned in the laryngo pharynx to thereby prevent ingress of extraneous fluids into the larynx, includes an airway tube connected to or formed with the mask for passing gas to the larynx when the mask is properly inserted into the laryngo pharynx. The mask includes a proximal portion adapted to collapse or compress so that a proximal ventral part of the mask can move relatively towards a dorsal part of the mask during insertion of the mask. This facilitates insertion of the mask into the patient.
Smart ETT ventilation attachment and method of use
An add-on device and method for an Endo-Tracheal Tube (ETT), the add-on device including a lengthy body having a major arc-shaped cross section sized and shaped to tightly fit over an ETT, at least one longitudinal cavity passing along the lengthy body, including a distal suction cavity ending with a suction inlet at a distal end of the lengthy body; and a distal suction outlet channel extending from a proximal end of the lengthy body, the channel is a continuous extension of the distal suction cavity and configured to provide suction to the distal suction cavity. The add-on device senses moisture at a distal end of the add-on device, and in case of detection of excessive wetness, provides suction to the distal end of the device through a cavity passing along the device, the suction is provided via a suction outlet channel extending from a proximal end of the device.

FLUID DISPENSING CATHETER
A fluid dispensing catheter including an elongate body having a proximal portion and a distal portion and defining a passage between the proximal and distal portions, and a plug having a proximal section positioned within the passage in the distal portion of the elongate body to partially occlude the passage, the plug being substantially cylindrical and having a flat parallel to and offset from a longitudinal axis of the plug, the flat defining a gap with the elongate body.
VISUALIZED ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE PLACEMENT SYSTEMS
Systems, methods, and devices for facilitating insertion of an endotracheal tube and/or for verifying the position of the endotracheal tube within an airway of a patient with respect to an anatomical landmark of a patient are disclosed. Systems, methods, and devices for facilitating removal of debris from the distal airways of a patient under direct visualization are also disclosed.
Apparatus and method for improved assisted ventilation
Devices and methods for allowing for improved assisted ventilation of a patient. The methods and devices provide a number of benefits over conventional approaches for assisted ventilation. For example, the methods and devices described herein permit blind insertion of a device that can allow ventilation regardless of whether the device is positioned within a trachea or an esophagus. In addition, the methods and device allow for timed delivery of ventilations based on a condition of a thoracic cavity to increase the amount and efficiency of blood flow during a resuscitation procedure.
SMART ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE
A system and method for ventilating the lungs of a patient. The system includes a smart tube for intubation comprising a tip and a cuff. The system also includes one or more cameras, coupled with the smart tube, for providing relative positional intubation measurements of the patient and/or providing intubation images of the patient. Further, the system includes one or more sensors, coupled with the smart tube, for sensing the inflation of the cuff and/or sensing pressure of the cuff. The system for ventilating additionally includes a computing system, coupled with the camera, the at least one sensor and the smart tube, for computing programmed feedback based on the relative positional intubation measurements, and/or the intubation images, and/or the inflation of the cuff, and/or the pressure of the cuff.

Method and apparatus for computer-vision guided targeted delivery of small liquid volumes into selected lung regions
The present invention relates to a computer-vision based autonomous steerable catheter device and methods of using the same for targeted delivery of a liquid microvolume into the interior of a lung.
PULMONARY ISOLATION, VENTILATION AND TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR USE
A pulmonary isolation and ventilation apparatus (e.g., device, system, etc.) is disclosed. The apparatus may include a controller, a steerable outer member (e.g., outer sleeve body), configured to hold an inner member (e.g., endoscope) and a handpiece. The apparatus may be configured as a sleeve for use with any inner member or the apparatus may include the inner member. Through the handpiece, a user may position the outer sleeve body over an endoscope within a target region of the lungs. The position may be verified by the user using a camera of the endoscope. The endoscope may be removed without disrupting the lungs and the positioning within the lungs. The apparatus may provide improved ventilator functionality to the identified region of the lungs through outer member and may provide for isolating a selective targeted area of the lungs for treatment.
