20240165361 · 2024-05-23 ·

A mask system may deliver a supply of air generated by a flow generator at a positive pressure in a therapeutic range to a patient's airways to treat sleep disordered breathing. The mask system may include: a cushion, a mask frame attached to the cushion, the mask frame having a front surface opposite the cushion and a bore projecting from the front surface to form a hole, and the mask frame having a curved interfacing structure projecting radially from the bore, and said mask frame having no built-in or integral headgear attachment points, headgear, an elbow assembly, and a headgear connector detachably connected to the mask frame by translating the mask frame and the headgear connector towards one another, wherein the mask frame and the headgear connector are constructed to resist movement between the mask frame and the headgear connector when said mask frame and said headgear connector are attached.

Breathing mask with breathing gas opening in the mask body

The invention relates to a respiratory mask of modular construction. The main components are reduced to four parts and are provided by the mask body, the forehead support, the mask cushion and the attachment piece. The design, according to the invention, of the outflow structure between mask body and forehead support makes apertures in the mask body unnecessary for this purpose.

The present invention relates to a breathing mask for use in a respirator, comprising a receiving cover comprising an engagement portion for engaging a patient's mouth portion and/or nose portion, a connection portion connected to a breathing pipe, and an elastic deformable portion for connecting the engagement portion with the connection portion; a bracket assembly, comprising a forehead support disposed external of the connection portion and a receiving cover fixing frame fixedly disposed external of the engagement portion, and an elastic member for connecting the forehead support with the receiving cover fixing frame from a bottom of the receiving cover. The breathing mask for use in a respirator according to the present invention may achieve automatic adjustment of the forehead support without manual assistant adjustment.

Mask system

A mask system for providing respiratory therapy to the airways of a patient includes a frame, a sealing arrangement adapted to form a seal with the patient's nose and/or mouth, an elbow, and headgear to maintain the mask system in position on the patient's face. The frame has a main body and a forehead support extending from a top end of the main body. The forehead support includes an upper headgear connector, and the main body includes a lower headgear connector. The sealing arrangement is structured to interface with the frame. The sealing arrangement comprises a cushion having a face-contacting side and a non face-contacting side.

Cushion/frame sub-assembly connectable to outer frame

A full-face mask assembly includes a frame and a cushion provided to the frame. The cushion is adapted to form a seal around the patient's nose and mouth. A flexible lip is provided to an interior wall of the cushion. The flexible lip is adapted to engage the frame to provide a seal in use.

Breathing mask interface with small required operating force

The invention relates to a respiratory mask with an interface for the connection of at least two components, wherein the interface is round or oval and has a maximum diameter, and the components each make available at least one subregion of the interface. The component has a grip part which extends radially outward from the subregion and which is configured as a pressing surface or gripping means for fingers or the hand of an operator, wherein the component has two grip parts, wherein the subregions are in form-fit engagement with each other in an assembled state and are movable about a rotation axis (DA), for which purpose the grip part is rotatable to different rotation positions relative to the two grip parts.

SEAL FORMING PORTION, PAD AND CUSHION FOR A PATIENT INTERFACE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING

It is discloses a patient interface comprising a seal forming portion, a pad, and a cushion. The seal forming portion may comprise a base surface and a plurality of fibers fixed to and extending away from said base surface for contacting a patient's skin. The cushion may comprise at least along a portion of the circumference a first structure having an elongate section joined with at least one end section oriented substantially perpendicular or at an angle to the elongate section. A first end A of the elongate section may be connected or connectable to a frame member. The end section may be provided at an opposing second end B of the elongate section. The pad may comprise a resilient foam material layer with the seal forming portion. The pad may be adapted to be connected to the cushion.

INTERCHANGEABLE MASK ASSEMBLY

A system of breathing arrangements for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes at least first and second cushion components, e.g., full-face, nasal, nasal prongs, nose tip, and/or a combination of any of the above, including a nasal or full-face cushion and nasal prongs/nozzles combination, etc., that are different from one another in at least one aspect, and a common frame assembly configured to support each of the first and second cushion components.
