TURNING AND THREAD-ROLLING MACHINE WITH PRE-COMPRESSION DEVICE
A turning and thread-rolling machine with a pre-compression device includes a fixing base on which the pre-compression device, a fixing mechanism, a guiding base, a processing mechanism assembly, and a control unit are provided, wherein the pre-compression device includes a carrier and at least two cold-rolling heads in order to form by compression a pre-compressed annular groove in a portion of an unprocessed rebar that is adjacent to one end thereof, and, under the control of the control unit, the fixing mechanism clamps the rebar, and the guiding base displaces the processing mechanism assembly to the end of the rebar to perform turning and thread rolling sequentially, thereby processing the end of the rebar into a coupling end. The pre-compressed annular groove facilitates on-site inspection of thread quality and prevents the thread-rolling dies in the processing mechanism assembly from contact with, and hence damage by, the ribs on the rebar.
Dual-spindle machining apparatus
An apparatus for machining a workpiece has a housing having a vertical front wall and first and second side walls extending generally perpendicularly back from outer edges of the front wall, directed horizontally oppositely away from each other, and defining first and second planes themselves delimiting a space. First and second vertical guides on the first and second side walls outside the housing carry first and second vertical slides moveable vertically on the first and second vertical guides of the first and second side walls. First and second horizontal guides on the first and second vertical slides carry first and second horizontal slides movable horizontally on the first and second horizontal guides of the first and second vertical slides between the first and second front work stations and the first and second rear transfer stations.
Rotary workhead device
The rotary workhead device, which is loaded on the table of a machine tool and onto which a workpiece to be machined is rotatably mounted, is equipped with: a base plate that is attached to the table of the machine tool; two rotary workheads that are provided on the base plate and disposed so that the axes of rotation coincide and the workpiece-fixing parts face each other; a guide means that is provided so as to be capable of moving at least one of the rotary workheads back and forth in the direction of the rotation axes; and an impelling means for impelling the one rotary workhead in a direction that separates or brings together the two rotary workheads. The rotary workhead device applies a tensile force or a compressive force on a workpiece, the respective ends of which are fixed between the two rotary workheads.
Method and machine for machining parts in bar form with automatic part reversing and recalibration system
An automatic method for changing the machining reference frame on a machine for machining parts from bars, notably extruded or molded profile sections, the part to be machined being held during its machining by at least two distinct and independent clamping means each having a longitudinal movement and a rotation on an axis parallel to the long axis of the part to be machined allowing for a relative angular and longitudinal displacement of one relative to the other, a method whereby, in order to proceed with a change of reference frame, one of the clamping means releases the part to be machined and disengages therefrom to turn freely about the long axis of the part independently of the other clamping means, then aligns itself angularly on new clamping references of the part before retaking the latter and allowing for a change of grip by the other clamping means.
MANUFACTURING MACHINE
A manufacturing machine is capable of subtractive manufacturing and additive manufacturing for a workpiece. The manufacturing machine includes: a first headstock and a second headstock disposed in a machining area and configured to hold a workpiece; a tool spindle and a lower tool rest disposed in the machining area and configured to hold a tool to be used for subtractive manufacturing for the workpiece: an additive manufacturing head configured to discharge a material during additive manufacturing for the workpiece a workpiece gripper configured to grip the workpiece during transportation of the workpiece into and out of the machining area; and a robot arm on which the additive manufacturing head and the workpiece gripper are mountable. Accordingly, the manufacturing machine improving the productivity in the simple and easy manner is provided.
Machine tool
A machine tool includes: a lower tool rest on which a plurality of tools are mounted; a motor provided at the lower tool rest, for rotating a rotating tool when the rotating tool is mounted on the lower tool rest; and a tool holder attached to the lower tool rest, for detachably holding the tool. The tool holder has a clamping mechanism portion operating between a clamping state of clamping the tool and an unclamping state of unclamping the tool, as a result of transmission of motive power generated at the motor. With such a configuration, the clamping mechanism portion for automatically clamping and unclamping the tool held in the tool holder on the tool rest is provided with a simple configuration.
