The personal entertainment system may comprise a flow generator for providing the flow of air. A personal spatial respiratory interface may be coupled to the flow generator. The personal spatial respiratory interface may comprise an outlet for the flow generator. The personal spatial respiratory interface may further be configured to direct the flow of air within an ambient breathing proximity of a user. The personal entertainment respiratory apparatus may further comprise a controller and a sensory particle dispenser. The controller and sensory particle dispenser may be configured to selectively activate release of a sensory particle from the dispenser into the directed flow of air in response to an entertainment triggering signal.

SEAL-FORMING STRUCTURE, POSITIONING AND STABILIZING STRUCTURE AND DIFFUSER VENT FOR PATIENT INTERFACE

A patient interface to deliver a flow of air at a positive pressure with respect to ambient air pressure to an entrance to the patient's airways to ameliorate sleep disordered breathing includes a frame assembly and a cushion assembly configured to removably and repeatably connect to the frame assembly. The frame assembly and the cushion assembly form at least part of a plenum chamber pressurizable to a therapeutic pressure. The cushion assembly comprises a one-piece construction including a seal-forming structure configured to form a seal with a region of a patient's face surrounding the entrance to the patient's airways and a frame connection structure configured to removably and repeatably connect the cushion assembly to the frame assembly. The seal-forming structure comprises a first elastomeric material and the frame connection structure comprises a second elastomeric material, the first elastomeric material comprising a lower durometer or hardness than the second elastomeric material.

FILTERED RESUSCITATION DEVICE

Filtered bag-valve mask resuscitators are disclosed. Proper ventilation can be delivered to patients with significantly reduced risk of exposing healthcare providers to severe airborne diseases, while not compromising the quality of care and allowing the option of using aerosolized medications. A filtered bag-valve mask resuscitator can also include an angled segment having a lumen configured to deliver gases to and/or from a filter.

EXPIRATORY FILTER WITH EMBEDDED DETECTORS

Systems and methods for collecting breathing gas properties via a medical ventilatory filter and wirelessly transmitting the data to another device. For example, the filter includes a first housing enclosing filtration media for filtering breathing gases flowing through the filter, the first housing defining a first port and a second port exposed to the breathing gases; and a sensor assembly. The sensor assembly includes a first sensor coupled to the first port, the first sensor configured to capture measurement data for a first gas property of breathing gases flowing through the filter; a second sensor coupled to the second port, the second sensor configured to capture measurement data for a first gas property of the breathing gases flowing through the filter; and a second housing. The second housing includes a processor and communication circuitry operative to wirelessly communicate the sensor data to a computing device located remotely from the filter.

Secretion clearing patient airway management system

A pulmonary secretion clearing airway structure and related airway management system is disclosed that has a double lumen portion which each lumen of the double lumen portion operably secured to an airway management system so that inspiratory fluid (air/oxygen mixtures, with or without added water vapor) is delivered to the distal end of the ventilation catheter through one of the two lumens and expired inspiratory fluid, pulmonary secretions, and pulmonary fluids are removed from the patient through the other lumen. The expiratory fluid pathway preferably includes a secretion collection system for removing the pulmonary secretions and the like from the pathway, thereby improving operation and safety of the system. The airway structure can be a ventilation catheter or a supraglottic airway system such as laryngeal mask and the like.

Oxygen masks
