An electronic component mounting system includes: a printing apparatus; a plurality of electronic component mounting apparatuses; and a mounting information storage unit which stores mounting information. The mounting information includes execution mode information in which one of a first mounting mode and a second mounting mode is set for each of electronic component mounting apparatuses. In the first mounting mode, the electronic component is placed at a mounting position corrected on the basis of a recognition result of a first recognition mark formed on a board. In the second mounting mode, the electronic component is placed at a mounting position corrected on the basis of a recognition result of a second recognition mark formed by paste printed on the board. The electronic components are mounted on the board according to mounting modes set for each of the electronic component mounting apparatuses by referring to the mounting information.

Software and methods for automated pallet inspection and repair

An automated pallet inspection and repair apparatus comprises an inspection station and a repair station. The inspection station comprises a laser that illuminates a pallet, a camera that collects the reflected light and a computer system. The computer system analyzes the output of the camera and acquires the pallet's geometry and topography. The design of the pallet is determined by the computer software. A decision to repair the pallet is made by comparing acquired pallet data against the design criteria. If the pallet needs repair, a recipe of repair steps is constructed by inspecting each of the pallet's elements. The recipe is transmitted to the automated repair station.

The slide is moved to a bulk component replenishment region, and components are automatically replenished from bulk component storage vessel to the passage-equipped component case received from the mounting head which is empty. After replenishment, the slide is moved to a bulk component case exchange region.

Al disclosed is a device for performing the method.
