CONDUCTOR SHAPING APPARATUS

A conductor shaping apparatus includes a driving device that relatively rotates an upper die and a lower die and integrally rotates the upper and lower dies with respect to a shaping member. The driving device rotates one of the upper and lower dies in a direction from an edgewise bent portion to a distal end of a conductor so as to separate the one of the upper and lower dies from the other. One of the upper and lower dies includes a supporting surface configured to support a side surface of an end portion of the conductor as the edgewise bent portion is formed in the end portion, and a guide surface that is formed to intersect the support surface. The guide surface extends away from the end portion of the conductor in a direction opposite to a bent direction of a flatwise bent portion closest to the edgewise bent portion as it extends away from the supporting surface on an opposite side of a rotational axis.

An apparatus for manufacturing stators of dynamoelectric machines, the stators being formed as an assembly of pole segments; the apparatus comprising a seat where the assembly of pole segments are seated. An engagement assembly engages first ends of the pole segments for translation of the pole segments from the seat to a transfer device. A first holding assembly comprises a first plurality of holding members for clamping the pole segments to hold the pole segments as an assembly of pole segments. The first holding assembly being arranged on the transfer device moveable to transfer the assembly of pole segments from a first position to a second position. A containing assembly is located at the second position and provided with a second plurality of holding members for holding the assembly of pole segments. The second plurality of holding members are positioned on the containing assembly to surround the assembly of pole segments that are located at the containing assembly.

Coil end shaping apparatus

A coil end shaping apparatus shapes three flatwise bent portions f1 to f3 in a lead wire portion extending from one end of a coil by bringing first and second shaping dies close to each other such that one of the flatwise bent portions is bent in the direction that is opposite to the direction in which the rest are bent. The second shaping die, which is a movable die, has an clearance portion that prevents a portion of the lead wire portion to be bent along the flatwise direction on the side closest to the free end from being restrained by not contacting the lead wire portion while the flatwise bent portions on the base end side with respect to the flatwise bent portion on the side closest to the free end, of the three flatwise bent portions, are shaped in the lead wire portion.

Method and station for the construction of a stator winding with rigid bars for a rotary electrical machine
09973064 · 2018-05-15 · ·

Method and station for the construction of a stator winding with rigid bars for a rotary electrical machine; an insulated wire of electrically conductor material and provided on the outside with an insulating layer is unwound from a coil. A final end of the insulated wire is bent in a U shape so as to create a bar having two legs connected to one another by a cusp. The insulated wire is transversely cut to separate the rigid bar from the remaining part of the wire; and the bar is inserted into a stator slot of a magnetic core of a stator. The electrical conductivity is measured between the core and the outer surface of the insulated wire by means of a first electrode electrically and permanently connected to the core of the insulated wire and a second electrode, which rubs against the outer surface of the insulated wire.
