Rollable and foldable jewelry case with tangle free magnetic attachments to roll or fold up into reduced size for conveyance or storage
A jewelry case with magnetic or Velcro attachment mechanisms, the case comprising a base material, a series of transverse straps provided approximately across the base material, the base material having magnetic material or Velcro provided therein, the straps having aligned magnetic material or Velcro provided therein, such that when the straps adjacent the base are folded over into closure, after jewelry has been laid on or around the magnets onto the base material, the magnetic straps hold the jewelry in position for roll up, or folding, and storage or transit of the jewelry case. The straps may be of differing lengths and numbers. A concealed compartment may be provided within the base material, on the inside or outside, and secured by a closure, such as a zipper, to conceal jewelry or other small personal items within the compartment, during usage. Various ties, straps or cords may be applied to the top edge of the base material, to hold the rolled up or folded case into closure, after usage. The cords and ties can also be used to suspend the bag when unfolded.

Extension member for devices using magnetic field detection
The technology provides for an extension member configured to direct a magnetic field from a magnet to a Hall Effect sensor to facilitate detection of magnetic field. By varying the dimensions of the extension member, which may be any arbitrary shape, the relative positions of the magnet and the Hall Effect sensor may be less constrained by the reach of the magnetic field of the magnet, thereby allowing more design possibilities. The extension member may be used in a case, where the extension member may facilitate detection of whether the case is open or closed, the extension member may further provide magnetic attraction to keep the case closed.

Container for flowers and method of operation thereof
Disclosed is a container suitable for holding objects such as flowers and which may include a body having at least one wall defining a cavity. The at least one wall may include openings separated apart from each other. A tensioner may pass through the openings. A platform may be situated within the cavity and coupled to the tensioner so as to receive a force from the tensioner when a tension is applied to the tensioner. This force may be operative to lift the platform and the flower coupled thereto so that the flower partially or fully extends from the cavity while at least a portion of the platform remains in the cavity.
GEMSTONE CONTAINER, LIGHTING DEVICE AND IMAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods for evaluating gemstones are disclosed. The system includes a gemstone holding case, an illumination pad and an image capturing and gemstone evaluation device. The case includes a transparent viewing window in a top wall, a translucent bottom wall and a compressible light-diffusing pad for receiving gemstones thereon. The case and pad are dimensioned such that, when closed, the viewing window presses the gemstones into the pad holding them in place and level and allowing for in situ gem imaging. The illumination pad includes embedded LEDs for selectively illuminating the portion of the pad on which the case is placed. The controllable lighting, translucent case and diffusive pad serves to evenly light the gems and reduce unwanted light thereby improving the images and analysis performed using the image capturing and gemstone evaluation device. Methods for analyzing gemstones under diffuse lighting using the system is also disclosed.
