Cryptographic Key Management Via a Computer Server

Some embodiments include a computer server. The computer server can be configured to: add a security system associated with a user account; provision one or more communication devices associated with the security system; configure a cryptographic key to associate at least a communication device amongst the communication devices with the security system; configure an access control file that is cryptographically signed by the computer server and encrypted with the cryptographic key associated with the security system, wherein the access control file contains permissions of the communication devices to the security system; and provide a data payload including the access control file to a first communication device of the communication devices.

DEVICE AND METHODS FOR PREVENTING UNWANTED ACCESS TO A LOCKED ENCLOSURE

A device for preventing unwanted opening of a locked enclosure includes a lock bolt moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. A face gear is meshable with and rotatable by the worm gear between locking and unlocking positions when the worm gear is driven in the first and second directions, respectively. A blocker member is rotatable between first and second positions. A biasing member is operatively coupled to the face gear and the blocker member to bias the blocker member in a biasing direction. A sliding member selectively disengages the blocker member to allow the blocker member to rotate in the biasing direction. A lever arm is operatively coupled to the sliding member such that the lever arm is in the disengaged and engageable positions when the sliding member engages the blocker member in the first and second positions, respectively.

Electronic lock with power failure control circuit

An electronic lock with power failure control circuit includes a lock mechanism having a latchbolt movable between extended and retracted positions and an electrically powered lock actuator to lock and unlock the latchbolt. The power failure control circuit includes a microcontroller and the lock is connected to a primary power source and an auxiliary power source, preferably supercapacitors and charger that can be turned on by the microcontroller and off when the charger signals a full charge. A power monitor circuit detects low voltage on the primary power supply and sets a power failure interrupt causing the microcontroller to execute power failure instructions that control the actuator so that the lock is placed into a desired locked or unlocked final state during the power failure. Upon detection of the return of good power, the system resets the lock.
