The catheter assembly may include a catheter adapter, which may include a catheter adapter distal end, a catheter adapter proximal end, and a catheter adapter lumen extending through the catheter adapter distal end and the catheter adapter proximal end. The catheter assembly may include a primary catheter extending from the catheter adapter distal end. The catheter delivery device may include a housing, which may include a housing distal end coupled to the catheter assembly, a housing proximal end, and a housing lumen extending through the housing distal end and the housing proximal end. A secondary catheter may be disposed within the housing. The secondary catheter may be configured to move distally through the catheter assembly in response to a fluid pressure provided by a fluid delivery device coupled to the housing proximal end.

DIALYSIS CATHETER

A dialysis catheter includes an entirely subcutaneous first section, with an exterior interface via penetration of the overlying subcutaneous skin layer. In addition the first section of the dialysis catheter includes a detachable portion that enables insertion via a guidewire instead of a peel-away sheath. The dialysis catheter has a layered design that minimizes risk of infection.

Dynamic Reconfigurable Microvalve Protection Device

An endovascular microvalve device for use in a vessel during a therapy procedure includes a catheter and a filter valve coupled to the catheters. The filter valve is dynamically reconfigurable to automatically block and permit fluid flow through a vessel based on a local fluid pressure conditions about the filter valve. In embodiments, the filter valve has a proximal end fixed to the catheter, and a distal end which may be movable over the catheter. The lumen of the inner catheter delivers a therapeutic agent beyond the valve. The device is used to provide a therapy in which a therapeutic agent is infused into an organ.

CATHETER ASSEMBLY AND MEDICAL VALVE

A catheter assembly is provided with a catheter, a catheter hub, and a valve body (medical valve) provided in the catheter hub. The valve body includes a hollow main body provided with a distal end surface and a fixing portion for fixing the valve body to the catheter hub. At least a part of an outer peripheral surface and at least a part of an inner peripheral surface of the main body are inclined with respect to a central axis of the valve body. The main body of the valve body includes a distal end slit provided on the distal end surface and a side slit provided on the outer peripheral surface of the main body and continuously extending from the distal end slit.

Urinary catheter, kit and method

The invention provides a catheter including: a first lumen adapted for draining a first fluid from a subject; a second lumen adapted for passing a second fluid through the second lumen; and a third lumen adapted for passing a third fluid through the third lumen such that the third fluid can exit the third lumen to bathe at least a part of an outside surface of the catheter. The invention further provides a kit and/or system including said catheter and method of use for said catheter.

Devices and methods for low pressure tumor embolization

A method of transarterial embolization agent delivery at a low pressure is provided. The method comprises advancing a delivery device with an occlusion structure in a retracted non-occlusive configuration through a supply artery to a vascular position in the supply artery that is in the vicinity of a target anatomical structure, the target structure having terminal capillary beds, expanding the occlusion structure from the retracted non-occlusive configuration to an expanded occlusive configuration, lowering a mean arterial pressure in a vascular space distal to the expanded occlusion structure, redirecting fluid flow from the collateral vessels toward the lowered pressure vascular space and into the target anatomical structure, injecting an embolization agent through the delivery device and into the lowered pressure vascular space, and delivering the embolization agent from the lowered pressure vascular space into the target anatomical structure. Other catheter assemblies and methods of use are also disclosed.

IMPLANT WITH HIGH VAPOR PRESSURE MEDIUM

An implant delivery system can be configured to deliver an inflatable implant into a bladder via a urethra. The delivery system can comprise an elongate tubular body, an inflation tube and an implant decoupler. The tubular body can comprise a central lumen configured to hold an inflatable implant in an initial un-inflated state for delivery of the implant into the bladder. A method of use can include passing a distal tip of the elongate tubular body into the bladder. The implant can be inflated and released into the bladder.

METHOD OF REMOVING AN INFLATED IMPLANT FROM A BLADDER

An inflated implant, such as an attenuation device, previously implanted in a urinary bladder can later be removed according to a number of different methods. Preferably, removal is accomplished transurethrally. In one embodiment, removal is accomplished by reducing the inflated implant from an enlarged profile to a reduced profile so that it may be withdrawn transurethrally by a removal system. The removal system can be configured differently depending upon whether reduction from the enlarged profile to the reduced profile is accomplished by deflation, compression, and/or other ways.

Indwelling luminal devices

The invention comprises an indwelling medical device which is capable of delivering a therapeutic agent evenly along the length of the indwelling portion, including the outer wall, of the device.
