The case and/or method may allow for better protection while obtaining signatures thereon. A shielding card holder system for providing a versatile protector and holder which shields wireless transmissions from a card such as a smartcard. The shielding card holder system generally includes a card protector adapted to shield wireless transmissions from a card such as a smartcard. A card holder is removably attached to the card protector, the card holder being adapted to removably receive cards of varying thicknesses. A protector magnet on the card protector is adapted to magnetically engage with a holder magnet on the card holder or the card holder itself to removably attach the card holder to the card protector. Aspects described herein may allow for a payment card assembly including a payment card having a first surface, an opposed second surface, and an aperture extending through the payment card from the first surface to the second surface. An insert may be removably received in the aperture. Each of a plurality of identification elements may be configured to be removably received in the aperture and have an identification characteristic different than an identification characteristic of each of the other identification elements.

Disclosed is a holder for cards, including a housing which tightly fits around a stack of cards and has a card opening for locating and removing cards. Within the housing a finger button operated ejector arm is provided such that the cards through the card opening can be partly slid from the housing. The ejector arm is designed such that a distal part of it further away from its rotation point is at an initial distance to the cards stack while a proximal part of it closer to its rotation point engages the cards stack and by further rotation of the ejector arm to its extended position the distal part starts engaging the cards stack due to cancelling of this distance.

A wallet kit for a mobile electronic device or a mobile electronic device case. The wallet kit includes a wallet with a housing defined by walls of the housing. A wallet pocket configured to hold a card is formed by the walls. A wallet opening is formed in one of the walls and is configured to accept insertion of the card into the wallet pocket. An elastomeric bumper is arranged inside the wallet pocket.

A protective case for a mobile device includes a base member that consists of a frontside, backside, and side walls which are shaped to fit and hold a mobile phone, a plurality of openings for accessing ports of the mobile phone, and a wallet component on the backside that includes a lid that can be opened or remain closed by a pair of magnetic members. An apparatus for carrying one or more items in the form of a wallet includes one or more compartments. The wallet includes a slot to provide access to an interior of a compartment. The slot is positioned such that the one or more items within the compartment can be contacted along their bottom edge. In this manner the slot extends from the bottom edge of the wallet upwards towards the top of the wallet. In some instances the wallet includes interior dividers that have extended edges that extend past the length of the front and back of the wallet. These dividers with extended edges may also have a notch feature. These and other features of the wallet assist in inserting and removing the one or more items from the wallet.
