Track Harvester and Method
An apparatus for removing plant material from a plant body generally comprising a conveyor-stripper assembly having a pair of parallel driven endless belts, with a gap between the belts sized to allow the passage of the plant body but not the plant material growing thereon. A method for harvesting plant material from a plant body comprising pulling the plant body through a gap between two moving endless belts to strip the plant material from the plant body and convey the plant material to a collection point. The apparatus and method are well suited to harvesting hops.
Plant processing system
A plant processing system may include a plant stripping apparatus with a frame and a plurality of stripping fingers including at least two groups of the stripping fingers being movable relative to each other. Each group of fingers may extend from a respective working surface, and the working surfaces may be oriented in substantial opposition to each other with a gap being formed between the first and second working surfaces to provide a pathway for movement of plant materials between an input and an output of the stripping apparatus.
Plant processing system
A plant processing system may include a plant stripping apparatus with a frame and a plurality of stripping fingers including at least two groups of the stripping fingers being movable relative to each other. Each group of fingers may extend from a respective working surface, and the working surfaces may be oriented in substantial opposition to each other with a gap being formed between the first and second working surfaces to provide a pathway for movement of plant materials between an input and an output of the stripping apparatus.
Hop picking machine
A hop picking machine has a conveyor configured to receive hop vines, and a first cutting assembly including a plurality of blade assemblies spaced apart from one another across a width of the conveyor and extending upwardly relative to a plane of the conveyor. The blade assemblies include respective cutter bar members having blades mounted thereon such that the blades are oriented opposite to a direction of travel of the conveyor, and such that hop vines conveyed by the conveyor to the first cutting assembly can be cut by the blades. A second cutting assembly has a plurality of rotatable cutting members configured to receive hop vine segments from the first cutting assembly along the direction of travel of the conveyor.
Hop picking machine
A hop picking machine has a conveyor configured to receive hop vines, and a first cutting assembly including a plurality of blade assemblies spaced apart from one another across a width of the conveyor and extending upwardly relative to a plane of the conveyor. The blade assemblies include respective cutter bar members having blades mounted thereon such that the blades are oriented opposite to a direction of travel of the conveyor, and such that hop vines conveyed by the conveyor to the first cutting assembly can be cut by the blades. A second cutting assembly has a plurality of rotatable cutting members configured to receive hop vine segments from the first cutting assembly along the direction of travel of the conveyor.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL WORK SYSTEM, WORK SYSTEM, USE
A control system for an agricultural work system having at least one mobile work machine, which is developed to carry out a predefined work task in an autonomous manner, including an arrangement for the work machine for orientation purposes and/or for a collision avoidance. It is provided that the arrangement includes a multitude of markers which are able to be placed/are placed on objects in an operating range, and at least one device, which is able to be mounted/is mounted on the work machine and designed to detect the markers and to output an item of information to the work machine as a function of a detected marker.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL WORK SYSTEM, WORK SYSTEM, USE
A control system for an agricultural work system having at least one mobile work machine, which is developed to carry out a predefined work task in an autonomous manner, including an arrangement for the work machine for orientation purposes and/or for a collision avoidance. PLANT STRIPPER
A plant stripper is provided. The plant stripper, in one implementation includes a motor comprising a drive shaft; a first roller coupled to the drive shaft and configured to be turned by the motor; and a second roller opposing the first roller and defining a gap between the rollers for receiving a stem of a plant. A stripping guide element defines an opening disposed opposite the gap between the first and second roller. The opening is defined by a surface surrounding the opening and configured to contact plant material while allowing the stem to pass through the opening. The surface is configured to remove plant material from the stem as the stem is pulled through the opening by the first and second rollers.
PLANT STRIPPER
A plant stripper is provided. The plant stripper, in one implementation includes a motor comprising a drive shaft; a first roller coupled to the drive shaft and configured to be turned by the motor; and a second roller opposing the first roller and defining a gap between the rollers for receiving a stem of a plant. A stripping guide element defines an opening disposed opposite the gap between the first and second roller. The opening is defined by a surface surrounding the opening and configured to contact plant material while allowing the stem to pass through the opening. The surface is configured to remove plant material from the stem as the stem is pulled through the opening by the first and second rollers.
HARVESTING TUMBLER
A harvesting tumbler apparatus includes first and second spaced apart grating segment retainers, and a tumbler grating including a plurality of resiliently tensionable grating segments connected to the first and second grating segment retainers. The resiliently tensionable grating segments extend from each of the first and second grating segment retainers in a spaced apart circular arrangement. The tumbler apparatus further includes a tension mechanism configured to apply a sufficient tension force to the resiliently tensionable grating segments to cause the grating to form a cylindrical shape. In illustrative embodiments, the resiliently tensionable grating segments may include flexible cord segments.
