Portable hops harvester
A portable agricultural implement for the harvesting of hops that accommodates the automated removal of hops from bines as well as various features and functions associated with such removal and separation of the hops from debris.
Plant Trimming Device
Embodiments are directed to a plant trimmer. The plant trimmer may separate leaves or other peripheral plant matter from a body portion of a plant. In one aspect, an embodiment includes a rotatable basket having a set of ribs separated by openings in a basket sidewall and a cutting assembly having at least one blade. The rotatable basket may be configured to spin in a first direction. The cutting assembly may be configured to spin parallel to the rotatable basket and in a second direction, opposite the first direction. Plant matter extending through one of the openings in the sidewall of the rotatable basket maybe sheared by a cutting face of the blade and a rib of the rotatable basket.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE TO PROCESS PLANTS AND REMOVE COMPONENTS THEREFROM
A device, system, and method for removing hop cones and leaves from hop vines, including a set of rotating shafts with mounted picking fingers (picking drums) which are located between sets of rotating shafts with mounted paddles (grasper drums). The grasper drums, which are rotating at a different speed than the picking drums, transport and hold the vine which the picking drums remove the cones and the leaves from the vine.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE TO PROCESS PLANTS AND REMOVE COMPONENTS THEREFROM
A device, system, and method for removing hop cones and leaves from hop vines, including a set of rotating shafts with mounted picking fingers (picking drums) which are located between sets of rotating shafts with mounted paddles (grasper drums). The grasper drums, which are rotating at a different speed than the picking drums, transport and hold the vine which the picking drums remove the cones and the leaves from the vine.
MOBILE HOP HARVESTER AND PROCESSOR
A mobile hop harvester including a tilt-able cutting tower that can be lowered to move into the hop yard, and then raised to the full height of a trellis to top and bottom cut, and segment hop bines. The segmented bines fall through the tilted cutting tower and are moved upward and reward on a bine conveyor into a picking array that includes parallel series of rotating top retarders positioned over a parallel series of bottom picker fingers, each mounted on parallel spools or rollers, moving the cones, bines and debris forward through the processor at a downward incline, keeping the residual bines, leaves, twine, and debris engaged for ejection from the front or towed end of the processor, while allowing the hop cones to fall onto a cone conveyor upward out the rear of the processor for collection into a bin or the bed of a tending truck.
