Attachments for endoscopes
Attachments for endoscopes as well as methods for making and using attachments are disclosed. An example attachment may include a housing. One or more angled locking members may extend from an inner surface of the housing. The angled locking members may be designed to engage a biopsy port of an endoscope. One or more stabilizing members may extend from the inner surface of the housing. A locking apparatus may be coupled to the housing. A sealing member may be disposed within the housing.
Biopsy cap and biopsy cap housing
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical instruments. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a biopsy cap and endoscope biopsy cap housing with improved stability and stress distribution to securely and removably attach to an endoscope biopsy port. In one example, a biopsy cap housing may include a first center-split half comprising a first half of an upper and lower chamber and first pivot member, and a second center-split half comprising a second half of an upper and lower chamber, and second pivot member, wherein mating surfaces of the first and second center-split halves may be configured to interlock to define the upper and lower chambers.
Devices, systems, and methods for a biopsy cap and housing
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of medical instruments. More particularly, the present disclosure pertains to medical instruments for use with an endoscope, such as a biopsy cap and a biopsy cap housing with improved stability and stress distribution, for example, to securely attach to an endoscope biopsy port.
CLOSED SYSTEM CATHETER
A catheter hub assembly. The catheter hub assembly includes a catheter hub body, a septum and a septum retainer, the catheter hub body having a distal end, a proximal and an internal wall defining an internal fluid passageway therebetween, the internal wall defining a transitional step within the internal fluid passageway, the septum positioned within the internal fluid passageway such that a distal end of the septum abuts up against the transitional step, the septum retainer at least partially receivable within the internal fluid passageway and having an outer wall shaped and sized to interlock with the inner wall of the catheter hub body, the outer wall including one or more lateral ribs configured to inhibit rotation of the septum retainer relative to the catheter hub body.
Locking guide catheter hubs
A delivery device for an implantable medical device may include an inner shaft configured to retain the implantable medical device at its distal end, an outer shaft slidably disposed about the inner shaft, and a locking hub affixed to the outer shaft. The locking hub may include a housing, a piston element in the housing, an actuator operatively coupled to the piston element, and a clamping gasket made of a compressible material and disposed in the housing. The actuator may be movable relative to the housing between unlocked and locked conditions. The clamping gasket may have a lumen defining a first diameter with the actuator in the unlocked condition and a second diameter with the actuator in the locked condition, the second diameter being less than the first diameter. The outer shaft and the locking hub may be fixed to the inner shaft with the actuator in the locked condition.
Dual hub introducer sheath
There is provided an introducer system for percutaneously delivering a first and a second medical device to a patient. The system may comprise an introducer sheath having a longitudinal axis and a lumen formed therein. The system may also comprise a hub coupled to a proximal end of the sheath. The hub may comprise a first arm having a first lumen and a first hemostasis valve for the passage of the first medical device. The hub may also comprise a second arm coupled to the first arm and having a second lumen and a second hemostasis valve for the passage of the second medical device. Further, the hub may comprise a connection port such that the first lumen and the second lumen are in communication with the lumen of the introducer sheath for the passage of at least one of the first and second medical devices through the introducer sheath for delivery to the patient.
Hemostasis valve seal
A seal for a hemostasis valve is provided as well as a novel seal stack for use in hemostasis valves. The seal stack includes a plurality of conical or frustoconical members including an anti-prolapse member, and a sealing member. The seal stack may optionally include a diaphragm and/or a second sealing member. The valve body may include a pressure sensing member which may be located in a sidearm.
Devices, systems, and methods for holding medical devices
A medical clip for holding a medical device. The medical clip includes a first jaw and a second jaw rotatably coupled to the first jaw, the first jaw and the second jaw being rotatable with respect to each other between a closed position and an open position; an elastomeric insert configured to be positioned between the first jaw and the second jaw. The elastomeric insert defining a cavity having a cavity depth that receives a medical device between the first jaw and the second jaw. In the closed position, a distal face of the first jaw and the second jaw define a distal opening configured to receive a portion of the medical device through the distal opening; and, a proximal face of the first jaw and the second jaw define a proximal opening configured to receive a second portion of the medical device through the proximal opening.
BONDED VOID VALVES, DEVICES INCLUDING SUCH VALVES, AND METHODS FOR MAKING SUCH VALVES
Bonded void valves are provided for a sheath, catheter, or other tubular device that include a central valve portion comprising central mating surfaces opposite one another and a passage extending between the central mating surfaces along a valve axis; and first and second outer valve portions, each outer valve portion comprising an outer valve portion mating surface, an outer face opposite the outer valve portion mating surface, and a slit extending substantially parallel to the valve axis between the outer valve portion mating surface and the outer face, the outer valve portion mating surface of the first and second outer valve portions attached to respective central mating surfaces of the central valve portion such that the slits are aligned with the passage on opposite sides of the central valve portion.
