Plumbing fixture with integrated mixing valve
A plumbing fixture having a body and a mixing valve provided within and separate from the body. The mixing valve has a housing that is separable from and disposed within the body, wherein the housing includes a mixing chamber for receiving cold water, hot water or a mixture thereof; a first flow control valve for controlling a flow of cold water to the mixing chamber; and a second flow control valve for controlling a flow of hot water to the mixing chamber. Each flow control valve has a first valve member, which is configured to engage with a valve seat of the housing in a closed position, and a second valve member, which is configured to engage with a separate valve seat of the housing in the closed position. A portion of the mixing chamber in the housing is located between the first and second flow control valves.
Method and device for automatic flushing
The invention relates to a method for automatic flushing of fluid lines, in particular potable water lines. The invention further relates to a device for automatic flushing of fluid lines, in particular potable water lines. The invention is based on the technical problem to provide a method and a device for automatic flushing which allows a flushing behaviour that is better-suited to the circumstances and more reliable. The technical problem is solved by a method for automatic flushing of at least one fluid line, in particular a potable water line, in which a temperature profile of the fluid is measured, in which the measured data are evaluated and in which the automatic flushing of the at least one fluid line is influenced by an outcome of the evaluation.
Flow control valve
A flow control valve includes a valve inlet configured to receive a fluid, a valve outlet configured to output the fluid, and a valve member assembly for controlling the fluid flow through the flow control valve. The valve member assembly and the valve inlet are configured such that, when in use, fluid flowing through the flow control valve exerts substantially no net force on the valve member assembly.
CASSETTE FOR SAMPLE PREPARATION
Apparatuses for preparing a sample are disclosed herein. The apparatuses include a chamber, a first valve at least partially disposed in the first chamber, a second valve at least partially disposed in the first chamber, and a pump comprising an actuator and nozzle.
Valve disinfecting method
A method of performing a cleaning cycle for a water supply system having a valve. The method includes determining whether the cleaning cycle is necessary in a central controller located remotely from the water supply system; and when cleaning is necessary, sending a signal from the central controller to a local controller located within the water supply system to activate a heating element within the water supply system to heat an internal waterway of the water supply system to a temperature configured to clean the internal waterway.
DETERGENT DOSING CONTROLLER
A detergent dosing controller that is convenient to use and has better effect is disclosed herein. One side of the main passage is a water inlet (101), another side of the main passage is outlet (102) connecting to liquid inlet of washing bucket, and valves A(2), B(3), C(4), D(5), pump (6) and nozzle (7) are equipped. The inlet of valve A connects to the bypass orifice A(a) of the main passage, inlet of valve B connects to liquid storage tank of detergent A, outlets of valve A and valve B connect to inlet of valve C, inlet of valve D connects to liquid storage tank of detergent B, outlets of valve C and valve D connect to inlet of the pump, outlet of the pump connects to bypass orifice B(b) of the main passage, and for the relative location of bypass orifices A and B of main passage, bypass orifice A is relatively close to the inlet of main passage, bypass orifice B is relatively close to the outlet of main passage, the nozzle connects to main passage by concatenation and between bypass orifices A and B. The invention is applicable to the dosing of detergent for electric washing equipments.
SHOWER HEAD WITH INTEGRATED MIXING VALVE
A plumbing fitting having a body and a housing located in the body that includes a first inlet for receiving the first fluid, a second inlet for receiving the second fluid, and a mixing chamber. The plumbing fitting includes a first flow control valve operatively coupled to the housing; a second flow control valve operatively coupled to the housing; and an actuator assembly configured to move the first flow control valve relative to the housing to control flow of the first fluid from the first inlet to the mixing chamber, such that the first fluid exerts substantially no net force on the first flow control valve, and configured to move the second flow control valve relative to the housing to control flow of the second fluid from the second inlet to the mixing chamber, such that the second fluid exerts substantially no net force on the second flow control valve.
Mixing valve
A mixing valve includes a first inlet for receiving a first fluid, a second inlet for receiving a second fluid, and a mixing chamber having a fluid outlet for outputting the first fluid or the second fluid or a mixture thereof. The mixing valve includes a first flow control valve for controlling the flow of the first fluid into the mixing chamber and a second flow control valve, separate from the first flow control valve, for controlling the flow of the second fluid into the mixing chamber. At least one of the first or second flow control valve includes at least two separate outlets into the mixing chamber.
Mixing valve
A mixing valve includes an inlet and a flow control valve that includes a valve member assembly having a first valve member coupled to a second valve member. The first and second valve members are spaced apart from each other and are configured to seal two separate outlets when the flow control valve is in a closed position. The mixing valve also includes a stepper motor configured to simultaneously move the first and second valve members to selectively seal or unseal the two separate outlets.
Cassette for sample preparation
Apparatuses for preparing a sample are disclosed herein. The apparatuses include a chamber, a first valve at least partially disposed in the first chamber, a second valve at least partially disposed in the first chamber, and a pump comprising an actuator and nozzle.
