Valve device and method for assembling the same
A first flow channel of a flow channel switching valve includes a first portion that is connected to a valve body and that is linear, a second portion that is connected such that the second portion is perpendicular to the first portion and that is linear, and a lid member that is joined such that the lid member covers an opening of a tip end of the first portion. The first flow channel also includes a pair of projecting portions that is disposed such that the projecting portions interpose the first portion therebetween in a radial direction and face each other, and a connecting portion that couples the pair of projecting portions with each other. The pair of projecting portions includes a planar surface portion that faces the valve body direction.
Top entry ball valve and method
A top entry ball valve a pipeline mainly used in Oil and Gas Industry, Chemical and pharmaceutical Industries. The system allows for replacing all the ball valve components and seals while the valve body is still in the pipeline. The ball valve assembly has four main components: the body, gearbox, ball, and seats. Disassembly and reassembly may be performed utilizing various tools to allow removal and reinstallation of the ball, seats, seals, or other components therein without the need to remove the ball valve assembly from a pipeline.
Double piece retainer for compact valve
A compact manifold ball valve having a valve body, valve ball, valve stem and two piece retainer system; the valve body including a valve chamber having first and second ends, and a first flow passage intersecting the valve chamber and valve ball. The valve ball can be trunnion supported and include pair of movable seat assemblies that can be used to seal the valve ball to the valve body. A two piece retainer can be used to hold in place the valve components, the two piece retainer including a first section which moves only linearly along with a second retainer piece that is a threaded ring that rotationally locks in place the first section of the two piece retainer. The two pieces of the retainer can be symmetrically located about the centerline of the flow passage of the valve body.
Ball valve with integral seal retraction
A ball valve is disclosed herein. The ball valve can include a non-planar seal disposed upon a rotating ball, the ball and seal contained within a housing, wherein the seal includes a first section and a second section, the first section oriented at a different angle than the second section. The ball valve can further include a mating surface disposed within the housing adjacent to the ball, the mating surface arranged to fully contact the seal when the ball valve is in a closed position, the mating surface including a first section and a second section, the first section oriented at a different angle than the second section. The seal and mating surface can be oriented so that the first section of the seal does not contact the second section of the mating surface when the ball is rotated between a closed position and an open position.

Top entry ball valve
A top entry ball valve including a valve body, a valve cover, a valve stem, an assembly screw, a spring, a support sleeve, a support valve seat, a sphere, and a sealing valve seat. The valve stem passes through the valve cover and the valve body and is fixedly connected to the sphere disposed within the valve body; the valve cover is fixed to the opening of the cavity of the valve body by screws, to seal the cavity of the valve body; the sphere spherically fits with the support valve seat and the sealing valve seat; the support sleeve and the spring are provided between the support valve seat and the valve body; the spring presses the support sleeve and the support valve seat such that the support valve seat clings to the sphere; the support sleeve is fixedly connected to the valve body by the assembly screw.
Methods of use & valves with multi-directional ball check
A method for controlling fluid flow in a stream, the method including using a valve, the valve with a valve body in which is rotatably mounted a valve member, the valve member having therein a ball check for selectively preventing fluid flow through the valve; and such a method for producing an exit stream from a valve.
Motorized Ball Valve with Actuator Lock
A motorized ball valve has valve body with an actuator bracket receiver. The actuator bracket receiver has a pair of rails. The ball valve also includes a valve stem extending through the actuator bracket receiver and an actuator operably connected to the valve stem. A mounting bracket is connected between the actuator and the valve body to support the actuator. The mounting bracket is captured between the pair of rails of the actuator bracket receiver to offset torsional forces generated by the actuator.
Valve assembly
A valve assembly including a valve having an opening and closing mechanism for controlling the flow of a fluid through the valve controlled by an actuator and an actuator mounting bracket secured to the valve. The actuator mounting bracket includes upper and lower clamps securing the valve actuator to the valve regardless of the valve position.
