Medical device
Provided is a medical device for clearing an obstruction from a surgical instrument or surgical site, the device comprising: a first hollow member configured to allow air or inert gas passage; a second hollow member having a distal end and a proximal end, the proximal end configured to be connectable to a vacuum or suction source; a housing member configured to receive both the first hollow member and the second hollow member; and a push button operably connected to the housing member; and an inflation bulb configured to be attachable to the housing member, wherein the push button is configured to disengage the first hollow member and occlude the second hollow member when depressed by a force, and/or wherein the push button and the inflation bulb are configured to be operable by one hand of an operator.
Dual Lumen Endobronchial Tube Device
The present invention provides improved dual lumen endobronchial tube devices. The dual lumen endobronchial tube devices feature a universal design for left or right mainstem bronchus insertion. The dual lumen endobronchial tube devices also feature enhanced balloon cuff designs to minimize dislodgement while maintaining proper airway sealing. The present invention also includes water activated lubricious coating inside the shaft to reduce friction during insertion of a bronchoscope into the airway. The present invention also provides improved double clamps that prevent the accidental clamping of both tubes of a Y-adapter.
PINCH CLAMP
Pinch clamps are provided which generate positive displacement while also preventing rebound. To prevent rebound while providing positive displacement, the upper and lower clamping surfaces may be configured to form a pinch profile along which the tubing is compressed with the pinch point being formed at the distal end of the pinch profile. To further prevent rebound, the lower arm of the pinch clamp can include blocking ribs that interface with the upper clamping surface to prevent distal travelling of the pinch point even if the upper arm is forced into an over-engaged position
Apparatus and system for fluid delivery
An apparatus for delivering fluid from a fluid container comprises a housing to which a fluid container is attachable, a slider movably disposed in the housing and a resilient having a first end connected to the housing and a second end connected to the slider. Upon receiving an external force, the slider moves relative to the housing from a first position toward a second position to deform the resilient member from an original state to a deformed state, and upon release of the external force, the resilient member is allowed to resume to the original state to move the slider toward the first position to urge the slider against the fluid container to deliver fluid from the fluid container under a constant fluid flow rate.
STERILE PUMP MODULE FOR AN INFUSION PUMP
A pump module for an infusion pump includes a plunger-cylinder unit that can be coupled to the infusion pump in order to deliver fluid from a fluid feed line into a fluid drain line to a patient. The plunger-cylinder unit has a delivery chamber that is fluidically connected to the fluid feed line and the fluid drain line. The delivery chamber is delimited by the cylinder (14). The plunger can be moved linearly/back and forth in the axial direction. A plunger seal seals the plunger in relation to the cylinder. The section of the wall of the cylinder, over which the plunger seal passes during the back-and-forth motion of the plunger, is sealed in a sterile manner in relation to the surroundings.
INFUSION TUBE ASSEMBLY, INFUSION DEVICE, AND INFUSION METHOD
An infusion device includes an infusion pump and an infusion tube assembly. The infusion tube assembly includes a first tube body connected to the infusion pump, a tube joint structure having first, second and third tube joints, a second tube body, and a clamping device on the second tube body. The clamping device is to clamp the second tube body. An infusion method includes instructing the infusion pump to perform an infusion operation. When bubbles are detected in a liquid in the infusion tube assembly, the infusion pump is instructed to stop the infusion operation and a bubble alarm is generated. After the infusion pump stops the infusion operation, it is determined whether a pressure of the liquid first drops to a first pressure value and then rises to a second pressure value. If yes, a rinsing operation is performed.

The present invention also provides improved double clamps that prevent the accidental clamping of both tubes of a Y-adapter.
Medical Pump
A pump for treating a patient is disclosed that includes a spring-biased plunger biased toward actuation against a tube; a cam shaft configured to actuate the spring-based plunger; a lever actuatable between a closed position and an open position; a shaft coupled to the lever, the shaft having a central axis centrally along the length of the shaft, the shaft coupled to the lever to rotate around the central axis in accordance with actuation of the lever; and a lift cam pivotally coupled to the shaft, wherein the lift cam pivots around a lift cam axis, the lift cam axis of the lift cam is parallel to the central axis of the shaft, and the lift cam engages with the spring-based plunger to lift the spring-biased plunger off of the cam shaft as the shaft rotates in accordance with actuating the lever to the open position.
STABLE FLOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
A stable flow regulator assembly includes a body having a tube slot adjacent a perimeter of the body and having an opening at the perimeter to slidingly receive a portion of an intravenous (IV) tube, and a spiral slide groove extending into the body from the tube slot, wherein a width of the spiral slide groove narrows as the spiral slide groove extends further into the body. A tube arm is rotatingly coupled to the body, the tube arm having a slot open to the perimeter of the body and configured to slidingly receive the IV tube when the slot is aligned with the tube slot of the body and to regulate a flow rate through the IV tube based on the compression of the IV tube due to a position of the IV tube within the spiral slide groove. Methods of operating a stable flow regulator assembly are also provided.
SLIDING FLOW CONTROLLER
A flow controller having an internal tubing is provided. The flow controller may include an upper housing having a plurality of graduations, a lower housing engaged with and slidably coupled to the lower housing, and a cavity defined between the upper and lower housings for accommodating at least a portion of internal tubing. The flow controller may further include a flexible clamp having an upper section mounted in the upper housing and a lower section slidably disposed in the lower housing. The upper and lower housings may be slidably coupled relative to each other to transition the internal tubing from (i) an open position where a lumen of the internal tubing is uncompressed by the flexible clamp to (ii) a closed position where the lumen of the tubing is at least partially constricted by the flexible clamp.
