MODULAR TWO-PART SILLCOCK
A two-part sillcock includes interior and exterior sillcock members selectively coupled to actuate a valve that controls fluid flow to a faucet. The interior sillcock member includes a flanged housing having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve with a stem including a coupling at the outlet end. The coupling is supported within the housing by an adapter adjacent the outlet end. The exterior sillcock member includes a flanged faucet including a handle shaft with a coupling at the inlet end. An adapter adjacent the housing outlet supports the valve stem coupling and guides and receives the faucet handle shaft coupling for engagement of the couplings. When the exterior and interior sillcock flanges are connected, the faucet handle shaft coupling is connected with the valve stem coupling, so that movement of the handle controls operation of the valve. A dual two-part sillcock includes two sillcocks connected by a mixing assembly.
ADAPTER FOR VACUUM-INSULATED LINES
A vacuum adapter for feeding-through vacuum-insulated coolant lines from the surrounding atmosphere into a vacuum processing installation has an intermediate volume which is connected firstly to at least one insulation intermediate space of the vacuum-insulated feed lines and secondly to a vacuum pump. The pump capacity is available at least temporarily for evacuating the insulation intermediate space around the coolant lines.
Shower Control Assembly
A shower control assembly for adjusting a temperature of water in a shower includes a base that is coupled to a wall in a shower thereby facilitating the base to be aligned with a valve that is coupled to the wall. A cover is rotatably coupled to the base and the cover is in mechanical communication with the valve. The cover is manipulated thereby facilitating the valve to be adjusted between a cold position and a hot position. A knob is rotatably coupled to the cover and the knob is in mechanical communication with the valve. The knob finely adjusts the valve between the cold position and the hot position.
Universal embedded system for sanitary faucet components
An universal embedding system (1) for sanitary faucets and fittings comprising three macro groups, a first universal embedding macro group, a second macro group of functional components (1B) such as mixers and switch valves and a third macro group of aesthetic parts (1C), wherein the first macro group comprises six connecting plugs for inlets (3) and outlets, which can freely be chosen.
MOUNTING DEVICES AND METHODS FOR EXTERIOR FAUCETS AND LINES
Mounting devices and methods for securing an exterior faucet or lines to an exterior wall of a building are provided. In one embodiment, a mounting device for securing an exterior faucet to an exterior wall of a building may include a pair of plates, a pair of first fasteners, and a pair of second fasteners. Each of the plates may include a base, a pair of arms extending from the base and spaced apart from one another, a first hole extending through the plate, and a second hole extending through the plate. The first fasteners may be configured to pass through the respective first holes of the plates, and the second fasteners may be configured to pass through the respective second holes of the plates.
Wireform Clip For Use With Supply Valves
A system of supply valves according to the present invention may include a first and second supply valve, each of which is connectable to a terminal end of a water supply line so as to provide direct access to the water supply. The system may be disposed within a modular plumbing supply box, and the valves may be spaced from one another by a reduced separation, X.sub.1. Each supply valve of the system may further include a top portion and bottom portion that are interconnectable and which form a water-proof seal therebetween. The top portion may comprise ridges that cooperate with channels of the bottom portion when the two portions are interconnected to form passageways. The top and bottom portions may be positionally and rotationally locked to one another, for example, using a wireform clip and inserting legs of the wireform clip through the passageways.
Appliance outlet box
An outlet box assembly includes an outlet box housing, configurable between a first and second orientation, and a funnel assembly. The outlet box housing includes a first wall portion and a second wall portion. The first wall portion includes a first socket portion, including a first knock out portion, and at least one through hole. The first knock out portion includes a first knock out body and an area of weakening. The through hole attaches a plumbing fitting to the first wall portion. The second wall portion includes a second socket portion including a second knock out portion including a second knock out body and an area of weakening. The funnel assembly has a fixed funnel portion and a funnel cover configured to be removably attached to the fixed funnel portion. The funnel assembly is configured to direct fluid to the first or second socket portion.
Modular Plumbing Box System And Methods Of Mounting The Same
A system of modular boxes as shown and described can be interconnected directly to one another via connectors that are integrally molded with the sidewalls of the boxes. The connectors of the boxes may include fastener receiving apertures for receiving a stud-mounting fastener therethrough. The connectors are thin and flexible, such that insertion and forcible tightening of a fastener through the aperture will cause a compressive force to be exerted between the interconnected boxes to maintain their spatial relationship and to maintain their interconnection. A further feature of the modular boxes of the system are anti-rotation members and receivers that are integrally molded to the side walls of the boxes. The anti-rotation members and receivers interact with one another at the point of connection between the boxes to prevent the boxes from flexing, rotating, or otherwise moving with respect to one another post-installation.
Plumbing supply boxes
Plumbing supply boxes may be made of a thermoset plastic material that will not melt or permit the boxes to collapse inside a wall if subjected to flames or high temperatures resulting from a fire. If the thermoset plastic boxes have a drain opening, a thermoplastic tubular drain adaptor may be connected thereto that can be solvent welded. Relatively small intumescent pads may be installed in close proximity to the drain opening which, if subjected to flames or high temperature caused by a fire, will expand and form an insulating char that seals off the drain opening. The boxes may be slidable in opposite directions along adjustable support brackets to permit the boxes to be mounted in any desired position in stud bays having different spacings between the stud walls for ease of alignment of one or more openings in the box with in-wall plumbing.
