A valve body of the internal valve includes primary and secondary stem guides supported by respective primary and secondary stem struts connected to an inner side of the valve body. The valve body further includes thickened portions extending inwardly toward an axis of the valve body to which the secondary stem struts connect.

Strainer Assembly for Internal Valve

An internal valve includes a valve stem disposed in a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the stem, and a bleed valve coupled to the stem. The valve stem is shiftable from a first position in which the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position in which the bleed valve is open, and a third position in which the bleed valve is closed and the poppet valve is open, and the poppet may close in response to a pressure change. The internal valve includes a strainer having an extended portion to be positioned in a clearance space between an upper portion of the valve body and an opening of a fluid container. The strainer is arranged for securement to a mounting area of the valve body by at least one fastener.

Internal Valve System with Valve Inlet Positioned Relative to Container Feed Inlet

An internal valve includes a valve stem disposed in a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the stem, and a bleed valve coupled to the stem. The valve stem is shiftable from a first position in which the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position in which the bleed valve is open, and a third position in which the bleed valve is closed and the poppet valve is open, and the poppet may shift closed in response to a pressure change. The valve body includes a shoulder that is arranged for sealing engagement with a container flange and is between an inlet and a flange of the valve body and spaced away from the inlet. The shoulder is arranged on the valve body to place the inlet a desired distance away from the inner wall of the fluid container.

A system and method of operating a water supply system with one or more water consuming appliances is provided. The water supply system includes a hot water heater for supplying a flow of heated water through a supply conduit to at least one water consuming appliance. The water consuming appliance receives the flow of heated water and provides an indication of a fault condition if excessive water accumulates in the appliance, which might indicate a malfunction with a drain pump or a water supply valve. A safety shutoff valve is positioned on the supply conduit and is in operative communication with the water consuming appliance. The safety shutoff valve is configured for stopping the flow of heated water when it receives the indication of the fault condition.

Fluid delivery system, fluid path set, and pressure isolation mechanism with hemodynamic pressure dampening correction

A pressure isolation mechanism including a valve housing which defines a first lumen associated with a pressurizing device, a second lumen associated with an input line which connects a low pressure fluid delivery system to the valve housing, and a pressure isolation port is disclosed. The pressure isolation mechanism further includes a first valve having a normally open position permitting fluid communication between the first lumen and the second lumen and movable to a closed position when fluid pressure in the first lumen reaches a predetermined pressure level, and a second valve disposed within the second lumen and regulating fluid flow through the second lumen, wherein the second valve substantially isolates the input line from a pressure transducer connected to the pressure isolation port. A method for correcting for dampened hemodynamic blood pressure signals in a fluid delivery system which includes the pressure isolation mechanism is also described.

A hydrocarbon dispensation line pressure sensor adapted to work without requirement of a separate closed valve. The system closes the dispensation line upstream via an isolation valve. The pressure can be sensed from the dispensation line through the valve to provide dispensation line pressure. A channel in fluid communication with the dispensation line may be provided to allow pressure measurement apart from the main dispensation line. Further, a method for measuring the pressure drop profile of a dispensation line and various methods to determine the pressure loss due to leaks in dispensation line.

Pressure isolation mechanisms, method of use thereof and fluid delivery systems including pressure isolation mechanisms

A pressure isolation mechanism for use in a medical procedure includes a lumen, an isolation port in fluid connection with lumen, and a valve having a first state and a second state. The first state occurs when the lumen and the isolation port are connected. The second state occurs when the lumen and the isolation port are disconnected. The lumen remains open for flow of fluid therethrough in the first state and in the second state. The valve is normally in the first state and is switchable to the second state when fluid pressure in the lumen reaches a predetermined pressure level. A pressure transducer can be in fluid connection with the isolation port of the pressure isolation mechanism A fluid delivery system includes a manually operated syringe and a pressure isolation mechanism as described above.
