Open center hydraulic flushing system and method
09651149 · 2017-05-16 · ·

An open center flushing valve for a hydraulic system including a hydraulic circuit and a fluid flushing system, where the flushing valve has multiple positions that each include a fluid exhaust path through the flushing valve. Any of the flushing valve positions couples the hydraulic circuit to the fluid flushing system through a fluid exhaust path for that position. The flushing valve can include unpowered and powered positions. The hydraulic circuit can have two sides separately coupled to the flushing valve where in a powered position, only one side of the hydraulic circuit is coupled to the fluid flushing system through the flushing valve, and in an unpowered position both sides of the hydraulic circuit are coupled to the fluid flushing system through the flushing valve. In a powered position, the lower pressure side of the hydraulic circuit can be coupled to the fluid flushing system through the flushing valve.

DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE FLOW OF A FLUID WITH IN-BUILT PRESSURE THRESHOLD DETECTION

Valve with in-built pressure threshold detection, mounted in an engine block pipe, the valve comprising a body comprising an electrically insulating external element (16) and an electrically conducting internal element (18) bearing the obturator seat (14), an obturator (12), the valve also comprising an electrical terminal (34) connected to a detection system which, with the engine block (4) and the internal element (18), forms an electric circuit, the internal element (18) being in permanent contact with the electrical terminal (34), the internal element (18) sliding in the external element (16) such that, for a pressure below the threshold pressure, the internal element (18) is in electrical contact with the engine block, closing the electric circuit, and for a pressure equal to or greater than the threshold pressure, the internal element (18) is not in electrical contact with the engine block, breaking the electric circuit.

The invention relates to a micro pilot valve 1, which is characterized by a micro cavity 2, which is connected with valve outlet 3, a first micro opening 4 between micro cavity 2 and a first pressure level 5, a second micro opening 6 between micro cavity 2 and a second pressure level 7, a sealing element 8 within micro cavity 2, which is movable between the micro openings, and which in a first end position closes micro opening 4 and in a second end position micro opening 6, whereas the control pressure in the first end position adopts the value of the second pressure level 7 and in the second end position the value of the first pressure level 5, and a micro actuator 10, which actuates sealing element 8 via a transfer element, which protrudes at least through one of the micro openings.

An oil control valve has a cup shaft and a plunger. The cup shaft and the plunger have a projection and a recess to provide a male-female joint. The male-female joint provides contact points which can reduce lateral offset and inclination. The projection and the recess provides two or more force transmitting points from the plunger to the cup shaft, when the projection and the recess are inclined with each other. The force transmitting points are located about the central axis of the spool in a distributed manner.

LATCHING POPPET VALVE

A directional control valve for selectively communicating a valve outlet to one of a vent port and a pressure supply port includes a poppet extending through a cage. Relative positioning of the poppet to the cage selects which of the vent and pressure supply port is communicated to the valve outlet. The poppet position relative to the cage is provided by supplying fluid pressure to one of the opposed sides thereof, and the poppet latches with the cage so that the fluid pressure on one of the sides of the poppet need not be maintained to maintain the poppet position in the valve.

Double action direction fluid flow valve

A double action directional fluid flow valve includes a stepped piston connected with a poppet valve and moveable by a controller between open and closed positions by applying a continuous pressure to a small diameter piston face and selectively applying and removing pressure from a large diameter piston face to move the poppet valve between an open position and a closed position.
