Nozzle and keyed flush face receiver
An apparatus and system are disclosed for fluid transfer. The apparatus includes a fluid nozzle having a nozzle base. A poppet is rigidly coupled with the nozzle base. The poppet includes a poppet end surface. The fluid nozzle also includes a seal ring having a seal ring end surface disposed between a pull-back collar end surface and the poppet end surface. The seal ring is movable between a first position that prevents fluid flow through the fluid nozzle, and a second position that forms an annular fluid outlet that allows fluid flow through the fluid nozzle. The fluid nozzle also includes a tubular ball ring disposed around an outer surface of the seal ring. The ball ring includes at least one opening for housing a tumbler, which is configured to engage a surface feature of a keyed receiver. The system includes a fluid receiver and the fluid nozzle.
Medical connector with translating rigid internal valve member and narrowed passage
A medical connector includes a housing with a central axis, a hollow bore, and a narrowed passage. The connector further includes a rigid valve member configured to move along the axis of the connector as the connector moves between an open and closed configuration. The connector includes a resilient member coupled to the valve member and the housing.
Breakaway Connector
A breakaway connector apparatus for joining a first tubing section to a second tubing section includes a first member and a second member positioned axially opposite the first member. The second member includes a male portion extending from the second member. A housing is disposed between the first and second members, the housing including a socket shaped to receive the male portion of the second member. An axial passage provides a flow path defined inside the housing between the first and second members. A stem is disposed in the axial passage between the first and second members. A first valve is disposed on the first or second member, and the stem engages the first valve and opens the first valve to allow flow between the first and second members through the axial passage when the male portion of the second member is fully received in the socket of the housing.
Coupling designed for pressure-relieved coupling
This invention relates to a coupling comprising a male part and a female part (7, 9), each having a ducting system (39) for the transmission of fluid (F) during the use of the coupling (1, 1, 2), at least a front portion (13) comprising a main valve member (19) designed to prevent the fluid (F) from leaving the ducting system (39) when the coupling (1, 1, 2) is uncoupled. An operating member (5) is connected to a pilot valve member (41, 63, 63, 64) for controlling the flow of fluid (F) to and for pressurizing a valve chamber (45, 45) in which a pressure relief valve member (33, 33, 35, 35) is designed to move into a position in which the ducting system (39) is opened or throttled.
