A system for facilitating travel includes a handheld device for weighing luggage that is electronically linked with an application server via a smart device. The device includes electronics disposed within a housing configured to conform to a luggage handle. Lifting the luggage with the device disposed against its handle causes the luggage weight to impart a force onto the housing. This force is sensed by the electronics and converted into a weight measurement that is displayed on the smart device and sent to the application server. Weight measurements stored on the application server can be integrated with airline flight information, such as baggage restrictions, to provide certain advantages. For instance, weight measurements can be retrieved by a traveler to ensure baggage compliance. Additionally, historical luggage data can reviewed by an airline on a flight-based level to prepare for atypical cargo loads or on a traveler-basis to incentivize light baggage travel.

A receiving device includes a casing, a guiding member, a rotation member, a key, and a pushrod. The casing includes a baseboard, a first side plate, a second side plate, and a receiving member. The guiding member is received in the receiving member and defines a receiving groove. The rotation member rotatably covers the receiving groove and defines a bump element. The bump element is mounted on the first side plate through a first spring. The key is movably arranged in the casing. The pushrod includes a first end, a second end, and a spindle. The key is driven by an external force to drive the pushrod to rotate about the spindle, and the pushrod drives the rotation member to rotate until the receiving groove is no longer covered, thus the receiving groove is opened.

A collapsible pet carrier is provided and includes: an interior space defined between opposing side walls, opposing end walls, and a bottom wall; one or more straps attached to one of the opposing side walls and opposing end walls; a cover movably attached over a top opening of the collapsible carrier; a pair of opposing pockets located on an exterior portion of the bottom wall, the pair of opposing pockets separated by a slit; a board shaped to fit at least partially within the paid of opposing pockets and across the slit; and a closure mechanism formed along an edge of the exterior portion of the bottom wall. Disclosed is a system for a combination bag, mat, and flotation device. The system includes a rectangular elongated mat having an external surface, internal surface, a mat section first side and second side, and a mat section first side and second side. A pair of flotation devices are attached to the mat section first side and second side. Each flotation device has an internal air compartment, inflation nozzle, and attachment element, and when inflated, allow the mat to be used as a flotation device. A zipper is disposed on the perimeter of the mat. A first fastener in attachment proximate to the mat section first side and a second fastener in attachment proximate to the mat section second side. The first fastener and second fastener are configured to removably mate with each other. When the mat is folded so that the first fastener and second fastener are mated and the zipper is sealed, the mat forms a bag configuration.

A bag for storing and holding electronic and non-electronic items upon the passenger seat of a vehicle is a fabric accessory holder that opens to resemble an open rectangular tray having short sidewalls with multiple interior accessory pockets each having closures, and a coffee cup holder mounted on the inside bottom. A stiffener is used to provide some rigidity to the base and the sidewalls. The sides pull together with closures such as zippers into a domed top with handles for carrying.
