COOLING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MACHINE TOOLS
A clamping system for machine tools includes a body portion configured to be received in a holding fixture of a machine, a tool holder integrally formed with and extending longitudinally from the body portion, the tool holder having a mounting mechanism on a distal end thereof for receiving a cutting tool, at least one fluid delivery vein extending through the tool holder from the body portion to the distal end of the tool holder, and at least one outlet at the distal end of the tool holder, the at least one outlet being configured to direct a fluid from the at least one fluid delivery vein toward at least one of the cutting tool and a workpiece.
SEALED COLLET
A collet includes an axially rearward end and an axially forward end; a nose portion; a body portion having an outer surface and an inner surface for engaging a shank of a tool; a plurality of slots extending from the inner surface to the outer surface; and a plurality of coolant channels disposed within the collet between the plurality of longitudinally extending slots and extending entirely from the axially rearward end to the axially forward end of the collet. The slots include a first slot extending from the axial forward end to within an intermediary zone, a second slot extending from the axial rearward end to at least the tool holder engagement zone such that the second slot does not intersect the first slot, and a third slot from within the tool engagement zone to within the intermediary zone such that the third slot circumferentially overlaps the first and second slots.
Collet locking shaft assembly
A universal driven shaft retaining system includes a collet chuck holder that circumferentially engages a collet chuck with substantially inward compression during inward co-linear movement of a drawing bar creating a clamping (locking) effect on an inserted driven shaft.
Dental clamping apparatus and operating method thereof
A rotating member of a dental clamping apparatus is movably connected to a body and disposed in a through hole. A hole diameter is located on an inner side of a clamping member and is corresponding to an elastic abutting slope. The clamping member is movably connected to the rotating member. A first blocking member disposed in a first blocking hole is engaged with an annular groove so as to rotate the rotating member relative to the body. A second blocking member disposed in a second blocking hole is engaged with an axial track so as to move the clamping member along an axial direction relative to the body. The rotating member is rotated relative to the body to axially move the clamping member. The elastic abutting slope is abutted against an annular slope so as to resiliently deform the clamping member to change the hole diameter.
Collet adapter
A collet adaptor 20 including a work piece clamp mechanism 29. The collet adaptor 20 is rotatable about a first axis A and the work piece clamp mechanism 29 is mounted within the collet adaptor 20 for rotation with the collect adaptor 20. The clamp mechanism 29 is also mounted for movement laterally to the first axis A during rotation of the collet adaptor 29. The clamp mechanism 29 can also be mounted within the collect adaptor 20 for rotational movement lateral to the first axis A during rotation of the collect adaptor 20.
