SWING ARM ASSEMBLY FOR INTERACTING WITH A SPOT WELDING TIP
A head for a swing arm assembly is provided for a spot welding machine. The head can accommodate a tip dresser or a tip exchanger.
SWING ARM ASSEMBLY WITH SHIFTER FOR INTERACTING WITH A SPOT WELDING TIP
A swing arm assembly is provided for a spot welding machine. The swing arm assembly can accommodate a tip dresser or a tip exchanger and can include a shifter that can translate the tip dresser from a first position to a second position along a lateral axis.
Auxiliary milling unit for a milling machine
An auxiliary milling unit configured to be coupled to a movable main milling unit of a milling machine includes an auxiliary milling tool and a mounting portion configured to couple the auxiliary milling unit to the main milling unit. The mounting portion is movable with the main milling unit. An auxiliary movement assembly is coupled to the mounting portion and the auxiliary milling tool. The auxiliary movement assembly is movable relative to the mounting portion to move the auxiliary milling tool relative to the main milling unit.
MULTI AXIS COLUMN MODULE, A METHOD OF SWAPPING TOOLS, AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
The disclosure relates to column module, more particularly it is relating to a multi-axis column module. The multi axis column module comprising a support structure of predetermined shape; at least one Automatic Tool Changer [ATC] consisting a tool magazine ensconcing a plurality of tools mounted onto the support structure, a drive unit with a spindle connected to said tool magazine, a gripper arm connected to the spindle of the drive unit; and at least one ram housing having at least one spindle at center and is mounted over the support structure. The disclosure also provides for a method of swapping tools in the multi axis column nodule and method of assembling the multi axis column module.
Manufacturing cell comprising a tool carrier
A manufacturing cell comprises a machine tool that has a tool carrier carrying a tool unit and has two adjacent workpiece paths oriented in a longitudinal direction. The tool unit can be displaced relative to a machine bed of the machine tool in a transverse direction and in a vertical direction. At least one workpiece carriage per workpiece path can be displaced in the longitudinal direction along the machine tool. The tool unit can be displaced in the longitudinal direction relative to the machine bed and/or relative to the workpiece carriages. The tool carrier overhangs or projects beyond the workpiece paths. The individual workpiece carriage can also be displaced in the longitudinal direction along the workpiece supply. Furthermore, the workpiece supply has at least one lowerable or tiltable stop device per workpiece path.
Machining center
A machining center includes a number N of workpiece tables. A number N of first guides extend parallel to a first direction. Along the first guides is movable respective to workpiece tables, one for each first guide. A number N1 of second guides extend parallel to a second direction transverse to the first direction. A number N1 of machining groups each include at least one machining head. Each machining group is movable parallel to the second direction along a respective second guide. A number N(N1) of machining areas is provided. The machining groups can operate on workpieces present on the tables. Along each first guide, or for a respective table, there is present N1 machining areas, one for each machining group, so that each machining group can operate, according to a programmed work cycle, on all the N workpiece tables.
