A case for a portable electronic device includes a housing, a lid, and a hinge rotatably coupling the lid to the housing such that the lid is operable between an open position and a closed position. The hinge includes a first multipole magnet coupled to the lid such that the first multipole magnet rotates with the lid. A second multipole magnet is coupled to the housing and is arranged coaxially with the first multipole magnet and such that the first multipole magnet and the lid rotate relative to the second multipole magnet. The lid is unstable between the open and closed positions, such that, between the open position and the closed position, the lid is biased toward either the open position or the closed position depending on an angle of orientation of the lid relative to the housing.

The present invention relates to a gaming console transportation case. The case can be equipped with a high definition monitor and a plurality of power outlets and is configured to be carried like a briefcase or pulled like a wheeled case. The transportation case provides storage for a complete gaming environment and system while protecting console components during travelling and transportation. The case includes a base portion and a hinged lid wherein the lid is hingedly connected to the base portion allowing pivotal movement of the lid relative to the base. To protect gaming console and associated components, the base portion has a foam lining with compartments. The lid can include an integrated display screen for displaying game interface and is connected to the gaming console through a connecting cord.

The invention relates to a ruggedized integrated modular reinforced case having, in one preferred embodiment, a floating protective chamber for safely transporting a laptop computer, as well as other valuable, or fragile objects.

An electronic device case is provided. The electronic device case includes a first body, a first connection part coupled to the first body, a second body, a second connection part coupled to the second body and movably connected to the first connection part, an accommodating space formed by the first body and the second body, a first magnet fixed on the first connection part and including a first portion, and a second magnet fixed on the second connection part and including a second portion having a same polarity as the first portion. The electronic device case is transitioned, by movement of the second connection part with respect to the first connection part, to a first state in which the accommodating space is opened, and a second state in which the accommodating space is closed.

A case for storing articles includes a base including a lower body having a first hemispherical side surface, a flat external bottom surface, and an interior cavity. The base has a platform secured to the lower body within the interior cavity. The platform includes first and second receptacles for retaining first and second articles, respectively, at first and second heights relative to the external bottom surface, respectively. The first height is different from the second height. The case includes a lid coupled to the base such that the lid is movable relative to the base between an open state and a closed state. The lid includes an upper body having a second hemispherical side surface and a dome-shaped internal ceiling surface defining a storage chamber for receiving tops of the articles when the lid is in the closed state.

A protective enclosure for an electronic device includes a first case portion that may be adapted to surround at least a portion of a top device portion and a second case portion that may be adapted to surround at least a portion of a bottom device portion. The protective enclosure may also include a first hinge member coupled to a portion of the first case portion and a portion of the second case portion, and the first hinge member may pivot about a first hinge axis that is coaxially aligned with or parallel to a device hinge axis.

A mobile phone case is provided for two phones that is capable of storing two mobile phones simultaneously. To this end, the mobile phone case for two phones according to the present invention includes a first case having a first support means on which a first mobile phone is mounted, and a second case having a second support means on which a second mobile phone is mounted. A mechanical wallet or cardholder can be opened using one hand by sliding a top or second plate along rails parallel to a bottom or first plate. A card arm forces cards in the cardholder (i.e., located between the first and second plates) out a second end of the cardholder in a fanned or stepped fashion. A magnet in the card arm and in a first end of the frame (opposite the second end of the cardholder and frame) cooperate to return and retain the card arm and first plate in the closed position. A card lock at the second end of the frame retains cards in the cardholder when the cardholder is in the closed position and allows the cards to be pushed from the second end of the cardholder by the card arm when the second plate is moved to the open position.

A hinged closure is disclosed for a container. The hinged closure comprises a first closure and a second closure. An internal closure hinge pivotably couples the first closure with the second closure. An exterior closure hinge pivotably couples the second closure with the container. A first locking member is couple to the interior edge of the first closure. A second locking member is coupled to the second closure. The first locking member engages with the second locking member for preventing pivoting of the first closure relative to the second closure and covering the container chamber and prevents access into the container chamber of the container. The first locking member disengaging with the second locking member for permitting pivoting of the first closure relative to the second closure and permitting access into the container chamber of the container and defines a reduced closure height relative to the container.
