FABRICATION METHOD FOR A MULTI-LAYER SUBSTRATE
A method for fabricating a substrate provided with a plurality of layers, includes: providing a steel substrate with an oxide layer including metal oxides on the steel substrate; providing a metal coating layer directly on the oxide layer, the metal coating layer including: at least 8% by weight nickel; at least 10% by weight chromium; and a remainder being iron and impurities from a fabrication process; and providing an anti-corrosion coating layer directly on the metal coating layer.
TEMPERABLE COATINGS COMPRISING DIAMOND-LIKE CARBON
A coated substrate, includes a coating that includes, starting from the substrate in this order: a) a layer of diamond-like carbon (DLC), b) a metallic, single-ply or multi-ply layer, and c) an oxygen barrier layer, wherein the metallic, single-ply or multi-ply layer contains b1) tin or tin and at least one alloying element for tin, which are present unalloyed and/or alloyed, or b2) magnesium and at least one alloying element for magnesium, which are present unalloyed and/or alloyed. The coated substrate protects the DLC layer, as a result of which said layer can be tempered. The coating has good mechanical stability and good aging stability before heat treatment.
Flat steel product with an Al-coating, method for producing the same, steel component and method for producing the same
A flat steel product for hot forming may be produced from a steel substrate that includes a steel comprising 0.1-3% by weight Mn and up to 0.01% by weight B, along with a protective coating that is applied to the steel substrate. The protective coating may be based on Al and may contain up to 20% by weight of other alloy elements. Also disclosed are methods for producing such flat steel products, steel components, and methods for producing steel components. Absorption of hydrogen is minimized during heating necessary for hot forming. This is achieved at least in part through an alloy constituent of 0.1-0.5% by weight of at least one alkaline earth or transition metal in the protective coating, wherein an oxide of the alkaline earth or transition metal is formed on an outer surface of the protective coating during hot forming of the flat steel product.
COMPONENT AND SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING DEVICE
A component includes a film containing polycrystalline yttrium oxide. In an X-ray diffraction pattern of the film, a ratio I.sub.m/I.sub.c of a maximum intensity I.sub.m of a peak attributed to monoclinic yttrium oxide to a maximum intensity I.sub.c of a peak attributed to cubic yttrium oxide satisfies an expression: 0I.sub.m/I.sub.c0.002.
PVD BOND COAT
Superalloy workpiece including a superalloy substrate and an interface layer (IF-1) of essentially the same superalloy composition directly on a surface of the superalloy substrate, followed by a transition layer (TL) of essentially the same superalloy and supperalloy oxides or a different metal composition and different metal oxides whereby oxygen content of the transition layer is increasing from IF-1 towards a barrier layer (IF-2) of super alloy oxides or of different metal oxides.
A COATED METALLIC SUBSTRATE AND FABRICATION METHOD
A coated metallic substrate is provided, including, at least; one layer of oxides, such layer being directly topped by an intermediate coating layer comprising Fe, Ni, Cr and Ti wherein the amount of Ti is above or equal to 5 wt. % and wherein the following equation is satisfied: 8 wt. %<Cr+Ti<40 wt. %, the balance being Fe and Ni, such intermediate coating layer being directly topped by a coating layer being an anticorrosion metallic coating.
SUBSTRATE FOR FLEXIBLE DEVICE
A substrate for a flexible device which includes a stainless steel sheet, a nickel plating layer formed on a surface of the stainless steel sheet, and a glass layer of electrical insulating bismuth-based glass formed in the form of layer on a surface of the nickel plating layer.
Multi-layer substrate
Substrate provided with a plurality of layers, at least one of which includes metal oxides and is topped directly by a metal coating layer that contains at least 8% by weight nickel and at least 10% by weight chromium, the remainder being iron, additional elements and the impurities resulting from the fabrication process, wherein this metal coating layer is topped directly by an anticorrosion coating layer. A corresponding fabrication method is also provided.
Titanium nickel niobium alloy barrier for low-emissivity coatings
A method for making low emissivity panels, including control the composition of a barrier layer formed on a thin conductive silver layer. The barrier structure can include a ternary alloy of nickel, titanium, and niobium, which showed improvements in overall performance than those from binary barrier results. The percentage of nickel can be between 5 and 15 wt %. The percentage of titanium can be between 30 and 50 wt %. The percentage of niobium can be between 40 and 60 wt %.
FORMING METHOD OF YTTRIUM OXIDE FLUORIDE COATING FILM AND YTTRIUM OXIDE FLUORIDE COATING FILM PREPARED THEREBY
A forming method of an yttrium oxide fluoride (YOF) coating film and a (YOF) coating film formed thereby are disclosed. The YOF coating film has no or extremely small pores therein and a nanostructure to increase light transmittance thereof, and has high hardness and high bonding strength and thus can protect a transparent window of a display device. The method for forming an YOF coating film involves the steps of: providing pretreated YOF powder having a particle diameter ranging from 0.1 to 12 m; receiving a transfer gas supplied from a transfer gas supply unit and receiving the pretreated YOF powder supplied from a powder supply unit to transfer the pretreated YOF powder in an aerosol state; and colliding/smashing (spraying) the pretreated YOF powder transferred in the aerosol state with/onto a substrate in a process chamber to form an YOF coating film on the substrate.
