The present invention's goal is to devise an apparatus (here-forth called punch-ball) made of a tension-reversible membrane that will assume a particular three-dimensional predetermined shape when under tension, apparatus that will border a central empty space, central space limited by the interior face of the membrane, and central space that will be in direct communication with the exterior space outside of the external face of the punch-ball through orifices in the membrane (here-forth called punches), punches that will not decrease the ability of the membrane to exhibit a tension force. The punch-ball can be used freestanding or in connection with an object representing a confined space that will be abutting the exterior face of the punch-ball when the punch-ball is under tension. The punches will allow fluid to flow freely or solids to be transferred freely between the interior and exterior of the punch-ball membrane without any limitations to the initial flow through the cavity prior to the punch-ball membrane being deployed in the cavity, the interior face of the membrane being defined as surrounding the empty space inside the punch-ball while the exterior face of the membrane as facing the exterior of the punch-ball. The membrane will be provided with hinge borders (borders that will lack completely or partially the property of being under tension, and at same time have various degrees of elasticity or deformability), borders that will allow the punch ball shape to adapt to the shape of the cavity in which it will be deployed, or for the action to be undertaken. At the end of the action performed the tension in the membrane will cease, the punch-ball will be un-deployed and then removed from the location of action.

A barrier structure for the storage and/or transport of fluids, including at least one barrier layer (1) including an MPMDT/XT copolyamide in which: MPMDT is a unit with an amide motif having a molar ratio of between 5 and 50%, particularly between 5 and 45%, preferably between 15 and 45%, more preferably between 20 and 45%, where MPMD is 2-methyl pentamethylene diamine (MPMD) and T is terephthalic acid, XT being a unit with a majority amide motif having a molar ratio of between 50 and 95%, particularly between 55 and 95%, preferably between 55 and 85%, more preferably between 55 and 80%, where X is a C9 to C18, preferably C9, C10, C11 and C12, linear aliphatic diamine, and where T is terephthalic acid, the copolyamide having a melting point of 250 C.<T.sub.f300 C. as determined according to the ISO norm 1 1357-3 (2013).

The present invention relates to anti-odour packaging films and to packages made therefrom. In particular, the present invention relates to anti-odour multilayer gas barrier films including specific anti-odour compounds in at least in one inner layer. These anti-odour films are particularly suitable for food packaging, especially poultry packaging.

A barrier structure intended for the storage and/or transport of fluids including at least one barrier layer (1) including an MXDT/XT copolyamide in which: MXDT is an amide unit present in a molar ratio of between 5 and 45%, preferably between 15 and 45%, and more preferably between 20 and 45%, where MXD represents m-xylylenediamine (MXD) and T represents terephthalic acid, XT is a majority amide unit present in a molar ratio of between 55 and 95%, preferably between 55 and 85%, and more preferably between 55 and 80%, where X is a C9 to C18, preferably C9, C10, C11 and C12, linear aliphatic diamine, and where T is terephthalic acid, said copolyamide having a melting point: 250 C.<T.sub.f300 C. as determined according to standard ISO 1 1357-3 (2013).

Radio frequency weldable multi-layer tubing and method of making the same

A RF weldable tubing is provided. The tubing has inner layer including a PVDF copolymer, or an ethylene alpha-olefin homopolymer, or an ethylene alpha-olefin polymer that may include a grafted polyethylene. The tubing may have an inter gas barrier layer sandwiched between the outer layer and an outermost layer including a TPU copolymer. The inter gas barrier layer may include an EVOH copolymer. A method of making such a tubing is also provided.

There are provided a food container having a silicon incorporated diamond like carbon (Si-DLC) layer and a method thereof. The food container includes a container made of a plastic material; an intermediate thin layer formed on a surface of the container; and a Si-DLC layer formed on the intermediate thin layer. Accordingly, it is possible to provide porous plastic container having a Si-DLC layer and a manufacturing method thereof, which can implement high oxygen barrier properties and excellent mechanical characteristics by stably depositing a Si-DLC layer on a food container having lower surface energy without breaking the Si-DLC layer.
